I agree that Exotic abilities were a great thing to have in the game. It made the pet choices less “cookie cutter”. If you wanted a hero, a battle ress, crit or haste, you had to pick a pet that complimented that.
Right now everyone just uses spirit beasts. And lets be honest, there are not many of them.
