Ha…ha! What do you for living? Comedy shows?
looks at your gear
Lol, getting luckier than i am.
pics, CV and references or it didn’t happen
What the customer spouting moronic ideas is always right?
More than that I give a look at capcom or larian and then i get why bg3 won game of the year.
I’ll die on this hill:
- we need bonus rolls back for personal loot…
Lmao. Liar.
Prove it. Show us your credits on the games you’ve worked on.
Worked on games, game designer haha ok then.
Cap
Anyway. Raid loot sucks. I agree.
a monk took 2 items from 4 bosses in a row.
I don’t think this is luck.
I have deep doubts.
They finished dungeon m+ in 1 season.
Radish juice at the root of raids this season.
Sometimes you get unlucky streaks when nothing drops for a while. Had my share of rogue or mage-less loot periods from time to time.
So? And? Whats the drama about? Thats life. Nowhere its written that after X amount of boss kills you will get a guaranteed usable item.
Usually, when the raid comes out, you can clear absolutely everything with pugs, except the last boss.
You mean you won’t be competing because it’s already guaranteed that you won’t get any loot since you are a healer and not a dps? That’s exactly the reason why I am not in a guild anymore. With pugs I can actually get loot and more important: I can buy it if I don’t win
If I was a committed raider, I’d be maybe fine with that. The reality is that I am not. I am just playing for fun and I am really annoyed when I am carrying my weight, while a dps can’t hit 50% logs (just as an example) facerolling his way through and gets the loot.
In S1 I got basically nothing. My first item was a tank trinket after like 4 weeks? I was a healer btw.
I geared myself up through M+ and didn’t need anything from raid by the time I had a chance of getting raid loot.
This season is different tho, the best healer trinkets are raid trinkets.
The Great Vault is intended to be that, though of course that comes down to a measure of luck as well.
Beyond that your best bet is to try and lean on crafted gear as much as possible and find a guild that is willing to embrace a raid loot distribution that works for you.
Raiding is a group effort. If you raid with a consistent group you’ll not only build up rapport with them over time but you will in turn benefit from your allies getting stronger when they gear up.
You’re free to prioritise yourself at every possible turn but if that is going to be the case then others are unlikely to make any concessions for your sake as a consequence. It’s a long term investment. I didn’t get any loot this week on my raiding character outside of the Great Vault which was a bit frustrating but it is what it is.
This is the dummest excuse for not raiding with a guild that I have ever heard.
So you would rather PuG the raid, abandoning your guild mates because DDs have priority ?
So what if they have priority ? Next month YOU will. All the items will be traded to you. In the end, you gear faster and better within a guild. Hands down. You participate into the group effort, and the group will benefit you in the long run.
Instead, you prefer to with PuG groups and then cry when nobody cares about you?
LOL.
These are the most selfish coments I have ever heard.
“I am awesome and DDs suck” typical answer from someone that in reality DOSENT pull his weight. Dumb attitude of “a raid works for ME”. You say that you pull your weight and nobody else does, but simultaniously you want all the loot for you.
If you are so good, join a guild of equally good members. And if they dont accept you, think a bit WHY. Because its not rocket science.
Yes? I am not willing to carry people for free? Why exactly should I be doing that?
No. That’s not the case. We did it in S1 and it was stupid. As I said, I am not willing to carry people for literally nothing while blocking my own progression.
No, this is factually wrong. I mean I am doing it right now…
This is not my experience. My experience was carrying people who do NOT put even remotely the same amount of effort as I do. And even worse, the people who got loot before me, did even reroll after a month, which means the item they got was COMPLETELY wasted.
What? Where exactly do you see me crying nobody cares about me? What the freak?..
Ye I am sorry I am not willing to sacrifice my time for people who can not even commit to their “main”. How selfish of me. Rather I should be doing what someone wants, whenever he wants and be completely fine wasting loot on nothing. What a smart guy you are…
I don’t need a guild. I don’t need to wait for loot. I don’t know why you are so angry about MY decisions but if your entire argument is about making up absolute non-sense, you do you. But your imaginary assumptions are just that: imaginary
Try to calm down and make your arguments based on facts for once. Stop making up non-sense because you literally can’t find an argument.
I even give you an example: Suggesting a guild might not accept me and I should think why that is, is not a fact. It’s you making up non-sense because you are being emotional and can’t make an argument based on truth.
OK. So when you PuG groups, you are not carrying anyone?
And its not for free. Like I said, in the long run you will gear up faster and better within a guild group.
OK. You got a point. But PuGs are hands down a worse alternative.
What you should do is go to a better guild. With better players and better progression.
But somehow trying to justify that a PuG is better than a Guild? Im sorry but THAT is delusional.
PROOF : You made a post here to complain about the raid. ALL that post would not exist if you were in a Guild.
If according to your experience. You ALWAYS carry people. I might suspect that you are the delusional here.
You THINK you are good. But in reality you arent.
I have seen so many people like you. With the same lame attitude. So many in fact that I simply dont beleive that you are “perfect” and everyone else in ANY guild you have ever been to since you started to play WOW is worse than you.
Hey. I am in a guild that raids. But I dont raid with them.
I dont do it because I cannot program my life well enough to raid with them. And I would never be so selfish as to have them wait for me (healer), or, god forbid loot an item and then be unable to participate again for a week.
So I am not selfish. I dont exploit them.
When I play with them, I go as a DD. And they carry me (cause I dont have DD gear or practice as a DD). Because they like me. And I NEVER loot gear from them.
Those are MY reasons. And you have yours. Both equally valid.
What I DO have a problem with is to try to justify PuGs as a better alternative. THAT is what I disagree with.
If you got beef with your Guild I could not care less. But then dont come here pretending like Pugging raids are a better alternative than to run with people you like, appreciate and enjoy playing with.
Its delusional to suggest guildies are worse than strangers. Its retarded.
The lone wolf dies but the pack lives on.
You are free to pug as much as you want and dont give a about others but don’t make a suprised pikachu face when a pug will also don’t give a
about you either and will vendor/DE your bis item in front of you…because he can!
Of course I am carrying in pugs. A lot. But not for free. That’s the point.
I am factually waiting WEEKS for loot and might not even get it in the end. Read what I said before. In S1 I geared myself already before I could get a raid item…
There is absolutely no logical reason for me to waste my time and raid with a guild, when I can literally do the same with a pug group and have HIGHER chances of getting loot PLUS an option to buy the item from someone.
It depends on your goals. I just want gear, I don’t care about progress, achievements or logs or whatever. And objectively, as long as you kill the boss, my chances are higher to get loot with a pug group than in a guild.
The only exception to that would be if I am somehow in a guild where I can have any loot I want first.
What? First of all I did not make a post complaining about the raid. I literally shared my experience about raiding in a guild. And you are even double wrong with this “proof”. The post SOLELY EXISTS because I was in a guild.
If I never was a guild THEN the post would not exist. Do you understand how you just not proved something, you were even wrong twice in just one sentence…
Really? Another made up non sense? Another assumption made by you without any evidence whatsoever?
Stop being emotional. Calm down. Take a break if you have to.
Then come back and make an actual argument based on truth. Based on facts. Not based on what you think to believe and what people you’ve seen who have absolutely nothing to do with me.
Good for you. But according to your own logic you are selfish.
Now how about you DO plan your life around this guild? How about you put MORE effort into the raid than them and THEN you say NO to loot?
Now you are in my position. So before calling me selfish, how about you do the said above FIRST? Oh you don’t want to? How selfish of you!
Do you even understand what you are saying? Like at all???
Not really. Somehow you are allowed to value your time but if I value my time you call me selfish. Now that’s the definition of a double standard.
You can disagree as much as you want. I shared my experience based on reality.
Try to make one argument based on facts too? Tell me why a raid guild is better for a healer, than a pug group BUT keep in consideration that the healer can kill the same bosses (with pugs and guild) while having an option to buy an item from pugs but not from guild while the entire goal fo the healer is to gear up, nothing more.
Now I am really curious how you want to make a logical argument here. I don’t think you can.
But I don’t have a beef with any guild? Why would you need to make another assumption that’s not based on facts and/or reality just to add how you don’t care? This makes absolutely no sense.
You are just way too emotional. You make arguments with your feelings while absolutely ignoring the facts and what I said.
Switch your emotional stance and read what I said.
That’s because you are very, very emotional and angry right now. You don’t read properly and/or fail to understand the actual points and my statement.
See, that’s the point. I know how pugging works. But you can picture my surprised pikachu face when I had a guild guy getting all my BiS items just to see him rerolling 2 weeks later.
If that is something that happened in your guild you had pretty bad guild that’s it
This kind of rules (loot prio for dps before heal in the first few weeks) apply in most guilds. The only difference here was that he was not banned from the raid group for rerolling. But this doesn’t change the way of my progression in the first few weeks.
That’s the first time I hear from such a rule and it sounds absolutely stupid since you also need strong heals.
My guild allowed one rerole per season so you don’t have those problems
