Raid seasons vs linear progression

True, and if set pieces weren’t removed, it’d probably be the same again. But, sadly that’s removed, along with the farming for leggo’s.
But, at the same time, you could also get Leggo’s from everything else you did, not just raiding. And it was only 2 set pieces from ToS and 4 set piece (Or sometimes the other way round) from Antorus that counted at the end. No one wanted set pieces from any of the 3 other raids, so they “kinda” became useless.

And you being offended/upset by someone online saying your actions were “moronic” shows what type of person you are.

In all threads, I put my points forward, usually towards someone elses points in how I see them. Doesn’t mean I’m right, doesn’t mean I’m wrong. They are MY points of how I see things. Which, that’s how discussions work weirdly enough.

For you to say I’m passive aggressive and a “I’m right and you’re wrong” JUST because I’m putting my points forward, shows you don’t know the understanding of what a discussion is.

Catch up mechanics means gear now, yes. But, we’re talking about the thing of “Clearing one raid before getting to the next raid”. Could you please explain to me how getting gear is going to help you SKIP the first raid (That we’ve clearly said should be completed before the next raid), apart from it making it easier to clear it. Because, you still have to do it.

what does this mean?

Example i mean is

BM hunter could at one point if high TF procs on tier gear could wear
2 x NH
2 x ToS
2 x Antrous
Have insane crit and good 2 set bonus from all 3 tiers and do massive damage .
So the point i was trying to convey is that during legion all raids were valid right up until pre patch BFA
Because of
Legos
Tier
AP
TF/WF procs .

Was that intended do you think? Or a loophole in the system?

Cant say for sure but it worked as it all boosted your BLP either a stroke of genius to keep us busy and actually have fun compared to BFA and now or a loophole like you say and they didnt expect us to farm like we did.
On my old druid main i used to do per week
EN
NH
ToV
TOES
Antorus
Lfr/norm/herioc
Mythic only for EN and Antous
AP /Relics/tier and legey tokens to send to alts after getting all 26 druid legos.

I can see this being a case again in BfA if next tier wont offer any good azerite pieces. (doubt it but yeah)

I doubt it, since the Azerite pieces from Uldir are only good in Uldir thanks to the origination array. Outside of that they are pretty bad traits to have.

I hate they removed tier gear i really hate it with a passion.
Now we all look the same and all have the sameish traits to aim for its just to cut back on art design costs .
They made up so many BS traits which nobody will use .
I miss the secondary stats on helm/shoulder/chest aswell.
The neck we have is a lack luster p.o.s aswell they whole expac is cost cutting in the first degree .

But the bosses will still have a chance to proc high TF unless they cap it .
Tbh Uldir is one awful raid.
No mount to aim for
No decent mog
The azerite gear from dungeons is better in general.
Bosses dont even drop AP so you could be right once next raid is out only reason to go back is for easy mythic title if you havent got it and to finish any achives you miss.

some pieces are really good from uldir. as a frost DK i love having glacial contagion so far its the highest DPS trait for me.

look at this trait, and explain how can this not be a joke.
entire BfA is bad at its core, never regretted comming back to the game so much.
after i get my CE (hopefully i dont jinx myself) its gonna be hard to stay around.

Im starting to hate gearing. TF and WF ruined it entirely all together with sockets.
Im not excited for gear, there’re no BiS, my “best” trinkets come from PvP and been 9 years since I PvPed so im a hot garbage, there’re sockets, and on top of all of this, stats feel like another add up to the luck cluster. got 395 piece the other day, cant use because 2 worst stats, my scrapper enjoyed eating it tho nomnom.

they could just add 50th horse mount and even that would make me happy at this point.

Has to be white though with a horn out its butt and no armour and has a dry wrinkled carrot hanging out of reach of its mouth.

hahaha… can we not!! :sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

In my opinion, Legendaries were the cause of that. As your BiS legendary could end up in a tier slot they needed more tier slots to accommodate. However, we then ended up with people running two set, four sets etc from various raids.

If they’d have made less legendaries and not stuck them in tier slots we could have stuck with the five tier items set up that we’d had in previous expansions. I am hoping if we return to tier in a future expansion it will just go back to being five slots again. Then the only stacking you could do is two two-sets. It may still be viable for some but we’ll see.

I prefer current system of raid seasons over linear progression. Old raids doesn’t have to stay relevant, only the newest raid should. Even in Legion some old raids still had better gear (like T20 hunter set having better ST bonus for MM hunters, or Convergence of Times is still being BiS for warriors even during T21) and having to farm old raids for gear sucks because it means you’ll have to divert your focus from current tier to old tiers, not to mention that there are less chances of finding a group for those old raids.

If you mean completely going back to old system, as in bringing attunements back, hell no. Attunements are completely alt unfriendly and getting rid of them was on of the best decisions of Blizzard. Attunements can rot in hell for all I care.
