dude that rhetoric of “you have a sad life to play such a thing as wow arenas and my life is so much better than yours” was already outdated in 1999 when we were playing cs. dude you’re spamming the forums let’s not pretend like you’re jeff bezos. you could even be bezos for all I care you’re stil sprewing nonsense on this thread.
But this should be a thing, so at certain ratings your Matchmaking can’t drop below 1600 / 1800 / 2000 / 2200 / 2400. This should be the markes everything below 1600 doesn’t count.
That also reduces the boosting play.
Sure do this and watch people at 2400 farm their glad wins with their 0 rating friends without ever risking dropping.
Or people at 1.8/2.1 playing with low cr players in lfg for easy conquest/honor without ever risking their rating, anyone who suggests this is a garbage player who wants to get boosted and never drop ever again.
No your matchmaking will also be high even for those 0cr guys.
Exactly what we need as if lfg wasn’t enough of a barrier let’s put a matchmaking barrier aswell!
I know what you mean. But to go against rating drop i think it is the best solution.
But asc you said this will be another problem in lfg.
If this ever goes live what i will do is park characters at 1.6 1.8 2.1 2.4 and ruin other peoples ratings who can still lose rating by accidently going to open the door or forgetting to use my cds because my cat jump on my pc.
See where i’m getting at or should i explain more how stupid this idea is ?
There will always be abuse in every system, that is what you mean?
The system we currently have is fine, it’s actually the best it’s ever been.
Only thing that they need to change is, glad wins will only count on games above 2.2mmr and that’s it.
What you suggest will break the game, ratings will go up to 5k and guess what when everyone is 5k rating 2400/2100/1800/1600/1400/1200/1000 brackets will not matter. since even the most braindead players like yourself will be 3k.
