Tbh, I think lower karazhan at least is very doable in pugs, but they should add new respawn locations after wipes (like mechagon at every boss), even if it’s not the “true karazhan experience” from tbc. The dungeon difficulty is fine. Groups just don’t time it, because running back after a moroes wipe takes way too long I think. It will also take time, until people learn things like when to get the debuff on this iron lady
The dispel is not visible to healer. From my experience.Only the person who has it can tell and help the healer dispel it.
And if the rest of the group does not use deffensives /interrupts the damage is too high to cover it all.
Healer’s output 20k hps? Find him and share it with us.
same goes for wod dungeons! without a team these days are the worst. only invite people who timed the key you want to run
no because you death skip after first boss and go to moroes/midnight. then through spider area to maiden
Then you’re blind.
Not that uncommon with the affix. I did some 14 lower and upper so far and at moroes I’m always around ~20k We cc three adds and kill one after another. Not sure if we do something wrong but when all adds are down the boss does a stupid amount of damage.
You see it on others. In a premate group with discord it’s not a problem as your mates can help you out. in PUGs everyone expects me to play with ultrainstinct.
Had the same just now. Healer on 17.6k HPS and I was on 6.1k. The total HPS in the group was 26k HPS counting the small healing from the DPS.
Your Warcraft logs shows 14k hps at Moroes, which i admit is very very good.
As priest i’ve reached 10k hps around if i remember correct but it was all a blur to try and heal all the damage. At a 13 key i think.
yeah… details showed that number. Point is… kara is a little off compared to the other dungeons
A bit yes.
The mosT common scenario i( think) THAT it happens at Moroes is that players believe that if they kill one add the others stay trapped( Yey lets defeat the boss) but (Hellooo) at 60 % of Moroes health they get immune to any Crowd control and the group needs to deal with them all.
Better not to touch Moroes at all and focus at one or two adds instead and leave him last.
Honestly I had more issues with Maiden than Moroes, that shield feels brutal to heal through
This is not true. The people who carry you are also loosing time which is much more valuable then your key depletion tbh. Also regular time of finishing kara is around 40 min. This is just too long
Shade fight is one of the most brutal boss fights I have ever beaten. That includes Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring.
Those games aren’t really THAT hard. As they are allowed to be beaten without levelling up.
Good luck bringing a level 1 character into anything WoW related.
Speaking of which. Being ranged in Elden Ring makes most fights trivial. Not the case in WoW. (Malenia being the only fight I had to make multiple attempts at)
I mean, they can just open a youtube video or the ingame guide and read it, tools are at their fingertips. Let’s not blame the people who expect others to know the mechanics of a 6 year old dungeon while simultaneously making excuses for those who join higher keys, get obliterated by poetry slams and flashlights, whine that they only died because the dungeon is overtuned and then leave the group.
I don’t really care about the experience of other people as long as i can’t time a key because they are refusing to contribute the bare minimum. If they don’t want to watch guides for whatever reason because it’s like atom physics to them to memorize a few WoW mechanics, they should at least do their own low keys, put “learning” in the description instead of ruining it for others. Not being perfect and being bad for the sake of getting actual experience in a +9 key is a little different.
I joined de_train today first time and was insta dead on every boss fight. boys did all the job
I agree with the OP.
I enter over 6 groups and after the 2nd wipe in flame wrath the group was disband. Sometimes “by going” yes it helps. But you can’t force other 4 ppl into a wipefest cause you didnt want to read the tactics.
So yeh RTFM
I can’t stand guides, the info doesn’t go in, it’s boring, and even if I could absorb the information, to me that ruins any possible fun, what’s the point of playing the game at that point? To me, personally, watching someone give you all the answers, there’s no satisfaction to be had from that, there’s no sense of achievement because someone already taught you the solution, maybe that works for some people, and that’s fine, but accept that that simply isn’t the case for everyone.
Some of us learn better by doing.
That being said… yeah people should host their own key until they’re 110% confident.
I’m new to mythic+ currently and outside of my guildies who know I’m new, I wouldn’t think of going on someone else’s key for a dungeon I’m not sure on, because that isn’t my progress on the line, it’s theirs.
I think that’s definitely one of the things I’m not enjoying about mythic+, I don’t like how easy it is to lose progress because of someone else’s mistake, but I also don’t like the timer, or the fact that keys can be lowered at all.
I’d much prefer a fixed +25-30 levels of progression that you can hand in for some cool things at the end, no falling, no timer.
Well M+ is not the gamemode for you then.
You’re right, it isn’t, but there’s also a distinct lack of other dungeon content.
other than gear you don’t get anything for running mythic 0’s. and if you’ve already geared up then there’s literally no reward for doing mythic 0’s, and honestly? I’m fine with that.
I’d just like more things to do at that difficulty, give me heroic/mythic timewalking, give me more new dungeons and mega dungeons to play in content patches etc.
I’m a tank main who just wants to do some difficult dungeons without a sense of anxiety/pressure from a timer.
I love wow, but Mythic+ isn’t for me, and it’s raids’ aren’t for me, they need to add more forms of group PVE content, whether that’s more frequent dungeon releases, single boss fight instances or something completely different, I dunno.
but there’s plenty of us who DO want challenging content, just not raids or mythic+ in their current format.
