I just transfered all my most important stuff to my character bags. Not gonna risk another screw up by Blizzard.
Scepter of the shifting sands, Mark of the Champion or crazy trinket that summons 3 voodoo gnomes

Well I had so many soulbound items, I couldnt stuff it on my char so I left it with around 4 tabs still filled, fingers crossedā¦ 
I did that as well but I still had 4 tabs left in the bank lol. I emptied everything, guildbank, warbank. My brother just told me he forgot to get all his items on his voidstorage haha and he cant log till tomorrow evening 
On a minor note: Iām guessing this means that reagent bags like the Burnished Leather Bag, the Burnished Mining Bag or the Hyjal Expedition Bag just to name a few will now be irrelevant?
Servers are up. My tooltips are in German, lol. And, Iām not on a German server.
I could stand to lose a lot of items, items that cannot be regained or earned back.
but I am curious how they will manage this because 98 slots is no where near enough space to store everything.
Some of my characters have the tooltips in German, some in French. The client and server are English.

Well some of my lower chars have lost about 3 tabs which were all unlocked before, some even for yrs. Plus my bank says Reiter, Leerenlager and Reagenzien??

Perhaps this is done to encourage you to buy token and then some more tabsā¦

My lowbie is at 40, she has all six tabs completely unlocked. I bought her everything before the migration.
My lowbie has the tooltips in French as well. Since it is just a fun cosmetic bug, Iām in a forgiving mood. It seems I still have my stuff, my bank was a royal mess though, so I had to reorganize it. I may do a clean-up at some point.
I am glad to say that I didnāt lose a single item during the transition on this character. Not only that, but I went from just 4 empty slots in my main bank before 11.2 (and around 20 more in Void Bank), now that I also took advantage of the Warbank to drop there all the non-soulbound reagents, to 150ish empty slots in the bank to fill with new mementos.
4 more characters to check, but 3 of them had mostly empty banks.

All 6 of my tabs were also named in German for some reason.

Either itās ātabā in French or you can only store steaks in it.

I like the change, mostly. That said, Iām already missing the old void storage system. I enjoy collecting dungeon sets, tier sets, and off-color variants ā all neatly organized in vertical columns, one set per column. Each column had 8 slots: helm, shoulders, chest, bracers, gloves, belt, legs, and boots, arranged from top to bottom.
Now Iāve gotta integrate and organize everything into my regular bank system, which only allows 7 slots per column. So Iāve had to drop the matching bracers from each set ā a small thing, but mildly frustrating for someone with a bit of in-game OCD about storageā¦ I like everything just so.

Same here, but thatās a āprojectā for another day. Iāll have to reorganize eveerything according to when it was acquired to put them in order.
Well I got 4 chars in their 70ās which had everything before incl reagent bank and now they dont have all unlocked.
Have anyone lost anything? I still got an hour before I can check myself.
No sign of that in the US either. Seems like this time the conversion is harmless You just learn a bit of French and German it seems
