I’m shipping Anduin and Wrathion, although I’ll take Anduin and light-crazed Yrel at a push. Since Flynn seemed interested in Talia, I don’t want him to lose her to Anduin.

Don’t really want romance in WoW, but as general ideas I quite like:
Anduin & Wrathion, the tension in that one cinematic was palpable. Flynn & Talia are cute. Jaina & my druid, but if it isn’t realistic (sigh), then Jaina & Thrall. Sylvanas is only capable of hate sex, but I’d like to see some hurt & comfort between her and Calia. Genn has some good potential for angst, but I don’t see him with anyone really. Likewise with Maiev.
Doesn’t Genn have a wife in game already? Should we be pairing him with anyone and encouraging adultery? Or is polygamy acceptable within Worgen society? In fact, are any WoW cultures polygamous? That could make things more interesting…
Well, its weird they’re trying to push Lor’themar and Thalyssra, as Lor’themar and Liadrin are apparently ‘a thing’ according to ‘Blood of the Highborne’. I mean I suppose it depends how, uh, romantically flexible the three of them are…
Besides, if we’re going ‘Sin’ and ‘Shal’ then the perfect match is already there…Rommath and Valtrois. They’d be like the Waltdorf and Stadler of Elven politics, the most snide, brutal and argumentative couple ever!

If Liadrin is gonna get ditched by Lor’themar, then she needs some proper elven bloke, so that she doesn’t succumb to Windrunner Degeneracy Syndrome. Clearly Halduron, I mean admittedly H is the guy who was trying to convince LTT to just wife Liadrin and stop messing about, and this was thousands of years ago, so clearly he thinks she is a good type, given that him and LTT are best mates. Plus, if they got Liadrin and Halduron together, then maybe he would get some decent presence in game, he’s supposed to be quite a sarcastically funny fecker, which we just never really see from his spoken texts.
Flynn totally has the hots for Taelia Fordragon, which is kind of sweet in a rags and riches sort of way. I know people want to ship him and Mathias Shaw, but that just doesn’t work for either of them, Shaw is married to the job, and Flynn is clearly all about Taelia. I mean it would be a good example of a ‘normal’ same sex relationship in game, but I don’t think they are the right two characters to do that with.
Kelsey Steelspark obviously has some pent up tension to work off, but the thing is, she has no Gnome male, or female who is remotely important apart from Gelbin, who does look a fair bit older, or Prince Erazmin which would be an interesting choice… I mean, sure, I know her and John J Keeshan had the whole flirtation about knives going on, but the practicalities of that are a bit icky…
I actually do think Anduin and Wrathion however. It started as a joke, but I actually do seriously think that if Blizzard were going for a positive reflection of the fact that same sex relationships were fine, and normal, then that would work. It is actually less clumsy than Jaina and Kalecgos, because it isn’t like Anduin is some female Captain Kirk, whose prime directive is to find alien women and bang them, whereas Jaina does have this unfortunate history of romantic partners or aspiring ones, turning out to be planet endingly crazy threats.
Anduin and Wrathion would be cool, and I’m even going to push this out there, but Wrathion is not Caucasian, it would be showing a positive example of not just a same sex relationship, but a mixed race one as well. I mean if you are going to send out signals, send all the right ones?
We also need more on Ji and Aysa. And I don’t just mean them as a ship, I mean it isn’t a Ship if they aren’t both already quite clearly in love with each other, we just need more of them actually doing stuff, lest the Pandaren become a one expansion novelty, which to be honest, they deserve more.
There are others, I’m sure I will think of them…
