Either way these are prob old stuff that was never accessible to players. Hope they add more like the green version of the Wotlk warlock plague doctor set found on half the WoD warlock enemies.
Not saying I dig them but some are nice enough. I guess.
My guess would be that these are actually SoD related.
Or a possible incoming BC season. People are asking for BC era.

I definitely have the red druid robe, I used in in a trial of style last week. This probably completes a lot of partial recolors that existed in the game for some time now. Deaths of Chromie sets were kinda the same.
Is classic stuff usually datamined in our retail patches?

I kinda presumed that retail datamines were about retail, even if they are crossover promotions. Ofc not all things even make it to game.
We never saw the motorbikes that were data mined before Emerald Dream.

It could be committed to a wrong branch, or otherwise have meta data which caused it to end up here.
Also, I doubt Blizzard wants to have 12 separate WoW clients.
It would make sense to have every version within one. Content is shared anyway.
Especially now that the next iteration is Cataclysm.
To be fair it would also encourage players to try out alternative editions. In my case, I don’t play retail because I didn’t install it.
… And, it could even lead to the opportunity of shared characters, accounts, progress. So instead of sweating over what to do with leveling and old raids, dungeons… just hop to the appropriate realm and play. Like Retail / Plunderstorm, or Classic Era / SoD.
Plus another frequent request is to access whichever content from some other version.

Looks great, better than the usual dross tier set you instantly xmog into something else.
Was the individual who was tasked with recolouring these sets, colourblind?
Because they could have hired my 5 year old to colour all those sets in and they would have been more visually appealing, that what has been done.
