Without all this lgbt drama i wouldnt know about this gay couple also. Point is blizzard arent forcing it at all…its actually like they were trying to dodge love stories.
Yeah i didnt read quest text when you have to bring 5 eggs so maybe i missed some lovestories.

Damn. This thread was simply meant to be about how relationships are handled in WoW.
Why are you getting so upset over nothing?
The small LGBT line was just a nod to the upcoming relationships announced in Shadowlands, but it was by no means intended to be the core message of my thread.
I swear, you guys are obsessed with this. You can’t even read the letters LGBT without going crazy over it and blowing things out of proportion.

I don’t think many of us play WoW for the relationship drama, if I was into that kind of thing I would watch the Kim Kardashian T.V. show, or those “House wives of ____” shows religiously rather than play WoW.
Of course you don’t play WoW for the relationships. But this is meant to be a massive, immersive world. To feel immersed, things have to feel real. That includes relationships.
To make things clear: I don’t want WoW to become all about love drama. I simply want the few relationships that we have to be handled better, and to feel convincing.

It’s a fine line to walk, but yes they could do it better.
The thing that de-immerses me is… expansions where everyone calls me the grand savior then a NPC takes the credit for killing the end game boss. Lol.
Yes, I too dislike being the Chosen One - along with everyone else. The one and only wielder of Ashbringer - along with every other paladin.

Conflicts are no longer allowed to last.
Expansion starts a conflict, then big monster comes along and we unite™ against a common enemy™, rince and repeat. Yawn.
it’s not the character’s fault.
Blizzard, after 16 years of alliance vs horde over and over realized that SPECIALLY after BFA, most people are not interested in faction conflict anymore.
So it’s more of a slow and steady change towards 2 factions being at peace. Or at least, as close as it can be without warmode being weird.
