Remove Garrote Silence

Garrote silence is completely senseless, when Assa still has stuns, kick, etc. Garrote silence has no counter, and even goes through stuff like Greater Fade - on top of it, it’s the rogue’s top damage dealing ability. Give me a good reason on why the silence effect on it is needed when Assa retains kick on the same CD as the other rogue specs?

Exactly. Currently Assa gets to AoE silence for 12s everytime they leave stealth. It used to be… once on one target when you leave stealth. Quite the difference.

Yeah but if …for example let say every time a caster engages in combat. The first spell cast disarmed melee for 3s. And could be repeated using class mechanics….

I like the silence aspect of garrotte as opener. It should have an internal CD applied to it. Used from stealth. Primary target only. ICD of X seconds.

they will tell u “u already do that with frost nova mimimimi” they wont get it trust me.

i play rogue disc, and for me rogue seems fine, because rogue is really Squischy, rogue can die in a Stun

I don’t mind to be in his main target the silence effect but aoe spam is too much…

yeah see… melees don’t care as much as someone who’s ability to literally do anything is affected i think…

Yep, now imagine if you had an ability to triple Dr aoe disarm, I guess there would be more complain :wink:

still wouldn’t annoy them even remotly close as to literally not being able to anything still, they can still ams, grip and so on.

prob the only way it to add a 3-4 times stun that doesn’t share dr with the current stuns, then they might get it

tho i still believe alot of people would rather be stunned for 4 seconds, than take 4 seconds to connect with a running mage
much easier to turn brain off and say “well, nothing i can do here” rather than actively trying to fight

Can you tell me which other spec can silence a target 3 times into stunning 3 times?

Newsflash: Garrote silence and aoe silence are both a problem.

I think the silence effect should stay.

AS AN OPENER

applies to the primary target only. And has an internal CD of 20s or so.

Or has a 100% DR when used on a target. Either works.
