They should make reputations account wide, there is already a lot of reputations and grinding all of them (especially those for transmogs) multiple times is not engaging and fun. There is already a start with the reputations needed for allied races, you only need reputation on one character, but start the quest with another.

Yeah, Blizzard has made many choices when it comes to game mechanic vs Lore, such as language barrier and race/class combinations. I feel the reputation system, outdated as it is, have reached a point where gameplay convenience is required.

If you're gonna remove reputation requirements from toys, then there's no real excuse to keep transmog locked either, as both are purely gameplay mechanics.

I couldn't agree more; there are no rep restrictions on battle-pets, mounts, etc... no reason why not to add already-obtained, account-bound transmog to the list...

People have been asking for this for so long, but Blizzard does not care. They want you to be playing as much as possible so they can bleed as much money from you as they can. Having items locked to reputations is a great way for them to keep people playing for much longer than they might do otherwise.

Still stuck, unable to use the Scryers tabard, which I earned on this very character. I want a legit answer from Blizzard about this, do they give a !@#$? Or do they not give a %^-*? This post will not die until I have an answer.

There is no good reason to not support this. Laziness? No, we've already gotten them once. Lore? We've seen plenty of choices from blizzard that chose gameplay over Lore, such as certain class / race combinations.

The rep/class gating behind items in your wardrobe is one of the biggest things that really annoy the heck out of me.

I mean, what is the point of having these restrictions in the first place? The way you transmog your things does not impact the game in any way, shape or form. I don't get it why is the transmog so restricted by these illogical rules.

If we aren't supposed to mog a different looking class, we shouldn't be able to get the same looking off-set items either.

I would even go as far as to remove restriction on armor type as well. We already have sets that look nothing like our intended armor type (SW/OG guard, allied class sets). This is not something that other MMOs wouldn't have implemented already.

These restrictions should have been lifted a long time ago.
