“long cooldown” Jesus the current generation has no idea about long hearthstone cooldowns it seems.
Sounds like a you issue tho. Use another hearthstone then as punishment.
Players don’t deserve anything.

I assume they removed them because with other portals coming into place there would be little place to put the new portals to.
If you want to get out of an instance I recommend using your Garrison Hearthstone instead. Even from there you can get to Ashran and port back to Org from there.
You can also get the guild cape that gives you a port to Orgrimmar on a 2 hour cooldown.
In the end if you constantly have to use a major city because you always keep forgetting about something it is more efficient to double check if you got everything you need before you head off.
You can also place your main hearthstone there, then you have two teleports to rotate in which saves a lot of time. If you want to get to Org there is a portal there.
Honestly, dalaran is one of the least problematic places to get to. The portal they took away from Vale honestly stings more, because the only direct way to get there is with a mage portal. There is no other way due to the pandaria engineering portal being so unreliable.
This, and it has the added benefit of not needing to go to a portal room, it’s in you bags and can be used anytime, anywhere (assuming it’s not on cooldown).
Good sound advice and also to add you have Garrison ship yard stone as well and i think 3 different versions of the Org/SW cloak and they do not share a CD

Just because you have hearthstone to certain capital doesn’t give them right to remove its portal and replacing it with useless excrement hole …
Suprissingly people care more about stupid changes in nowadays useless gear than quality of life and its portal issues …
As always Dalaran hearthstone doesnt work for all characters.
Dalaran Heartstone should be easily obtainable for any chars eligible to using the portal to Azsuna. Simply fly up to Dalaran and talk with a neutral innkeeper.
No its a common issue that it doesnt work for example this shaman, Blizzard knows about it
There are two ways of getting the Heartstone. The intended and bugged way is to start on the Legion introduction quest line. Skipping the assault and jumping forward in the questline is an option. You end up in Stormwind/Orgrimmar at the end anyway, and get rewarded the Dalaran Heartstone unless the quest line bugs out.
Then the second way is the one I mention above by speaking to the innkeeper Amisi Azuregaze telling her that you missed your hearthstone - and this way should work for everyone.
Dont talk like i dont know about this. Maybe you didnt know that the Dalaran hearthstone doesnt work for alot of characters, feel free to check it out. It is a common issue.
Sometimes it works doing the Legion intro again and sometime not. You grt the hearthstone bit u cant use it.
I didnt know that. All my chars can use their dalaran stone. But i did found a topic about it. Maybe you will find the solution;

Did you submit a bug report for it, since that is then not a common issue and not known by blizzard.

I sympathise for your issue, but it is the first time I am hearing about it and it it barely mentioned on Wowhead. Still it seems like Blizzard have a fix for it which requires you to do the Legion introduction quest line. If that doesn’t solve your problem, you should create a ticket.

Apparently with the failure of Chains of Domination and new Argus 2.0 Renowned zone we should at least get missing portals back … Blizzard … would you bring us Dalaran - Broken Isles and Vale of Eternal Blossoms … please
