I dont agree. I have been saving some gold for SL by selling bags, enchants, food. It would be unfair from Blizzard to “reset” my efforts.

I feel so bad for all your customers.
Spending their hard earned gold for some extra bag slots.
And now the biggest feature of this prepatch event is a free bag with many slots.
That wouldnt stop boosters afaik. The prices would change. However the demand would still be there and you would have the current situation within the span of a single tier. Even worse as Boosting communities would hard control the market after that tier.

I don’t think they will ever reset the gold, even a level squish which technically had no impact on player power got them flak. A better way to tackle inflation would be to remove copper and add a new currency with an higher value than gold which we would all start with none.

Not going to happen. I earned my gold. Not by any boosting either. From questing and selling on the AH. Why should I lose my hard earned gold? Not everyone is a booster. Shame on you.
