Response to Preach and Bellular interviews

So you think the game only has 10,000 players?

The forums have always been some sort of water drop in the sea - but in general our opinions are, most of the times, on the same level as what the majority of players feel about WoW.

Now you’re just making stuff up. When and how was this discovered?

So you cited 100,000.

Do you think the game has only 100k? Think, then post please…

Am that’s not the point. :^) People can change their minds, however if you go on the offensive, they’ll double down. For example, atheists cause Christians to believe even more strongly in God because when someone attacks your belief structure, your first instinct is to defend it, and in that defense you cause yourself to believe in it stronger. Which is exactly what you’re doing in the OP - you have your mind made up, Blizz hasn’t even had the chance to show us what they want to do with covenants exactly, and your mind is made up. No matter what Blizz does, your mind won’t change, even if it directly contradicts reality. So in a way, your feedback is useless.

Ok - yes I just pulled a figure - but 100k will be far closer than 10k; and In percentile terms it only gets worse (for your figures) the higher it goes). Even 190 from 10k is basically nothing.

Alliance doesn’t do mythic raiding though, so why u worried

I do though - why are you saying this?

No, my point is that the neutral mass is not invested enough to care. They will play the game on and off here and there. I do not think this matter matters to them thus they are not here.

Although it doesn’t concern me, and more people watch Asmongold in a day than anything related to mythic raiding, I do feel for them.

They try their best and this just hinders their playstyle even further, but also hits the average players.

Ion thinks himself higher than the mountains of Alterac, he knows best and BFA is a clear testament to that. You can’t argue with those people, they only see their own vision and substitute reality with it.

Making up numbers is a skill. You aren’t skilled enough.

:relaxed:

I think they are capable enough of having an opinion of a games in game systems. That mass is also who dictates wows development team. They are the most profitable, and the most important group for Blizzard.

One thing they could have done was just steal the masteries system from GW2 and have covenants be a purely outdoor mechanic that makes the daily life of players easier, faster gathering, ability to skip mobs, easier/faster/instant WQ completion, more resources, longer time in the Maw, and just general cosmetics.

I too do think they are capable of an opinion lol, I just dont think they care about the covenant system enough to be in here making their voice heard. Thus remaining neutral. Since either way it turns out is fine for them. If they really did care how it did turn out. They would be here. All I am saying.

That’s assuming they know about the changes to come etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Anyways, let’s see if Blizzard takes them into account or not.

Yeah, those millions of players who watched videos about it on YouTube and hate the idea are certainly the vocal minority. And of course everyone who criticized the azerite armor, essences, corruption were also false because they are such wonderful systems that made BfA so great.

I wonder how many failure it will take for you guys to realize that at this point not a vocal minority giving negative feedback about these systems and that they are also not wrong.

MILLIONS of people HATE this? Now it’s almost Sovjet propaganda level of words included.

Yea they made changes to please the tryhard community later on to make sure you keep subbed till the end of the expansion and buying the next. Works like a charm.

To be honest, even more than the forums, youtube comments, twitch etc, social media interaction in general, are better factors to evaluate how popular this choice is, because they encompass a far larger community. And it’s not looking good for blizz.

We will see, but i’m almost 100 % sure that it will not be received well.

No. Of views on video doesn’t mean a lot. It doesn’ reflect any opinion, if someone watches a video. And usualy same people watches several youtubers, so views accumulates on few of them from a single viewer. I sometimes also look at preach videos, sometimes asmo videos (so already 2youtubers from a single person), but it doesn’t reflect my opinions on certain topics.
