According to dataforazeroth over 15% of players got ksm in s4 and over 35% of players got any ksm in shadowlands how is that not many in your opinion?
It looks like participation trophy to me.
You should be scared my friend i did it 3 times and i’m still scared that i wont make it.
in s3 only 0.1150% of playerbase managed to do it. The easiest one was s2 of shadowlands with 0.4% of players getting it.

Just go here set achivements to unobtainable and you will see how easy getting ksm is.
i see 18% of all active tracked wow characters on world. again thats not much considering if everyone had an alt and many players dont even have a single m15 completed

No it tracks achivements earned through blizzard api
You can track any mount or achiv through it.
I know I struggled quite a bit with KSM, and especially in S1 I didn’t bother trying to even get it as I was playing tank and the skill level required from a tank back in SL S1 was big lol. It also depends on the dungeons, some are easier to do on +15 and some are a total pain, like Theater of Pain last boss oooff
At the end of the day a mount that as many as 15% of players can get is worthless.
Especially this ugly blue creature or whatever it is for df.
Even the mythic raid one is terrible since it can be farmed 1 year from now by lfg scrubs.
