A high/blood elf that aligns with the Alliance (and thus against the Horde and Silvermoon) is not a blood elf.

Basically high elf/blood elf at this point in the lore is a political divide more than anything.
Blood elves Horde, High elves Alliance.
(aside from the muddy mess that is neutral organizations)

in short if you stand in Stormwind and declare yourself a sin’dorei don’t be surprised if the guards come running and lock you up in a cell.

For titles I would suggest something very simple - keep it down to a single word or two. “Shadowblade”, “Knife in the Dark”, something like that. Don’t be one of those people that go overboard with titles!
