Roleplay ten years ago had playable worgen, hence it was probably okay.
Roleplay older than that did not have playable worgen, hence it was probably lackluster.
Jokes aside I assume the then-new race of wolf-people had it’s share of ‘alpha’ characters trying to exert superiority by being angrier and chugging more growth pots, which is barely a thing now so… maybe it’s for the best I missed Cata worgen RP.
Brought to you in the form of Thisalee Crow by Blizzard Enterainment.
(little did we know that giggling cwookie night elf druids was only the beginning and that four years later we’d get naaru, of all things, with anime girl voices)
Never have I have a more instant dislike towards a voiced character in WoW than getting her out of the cage in Val’sharrah. Honestly if there was an option to leave her there, I’d be all for it.
WoW’s equivalent to Scrappy Dappy Doo should NOT be a night elf. A gnome, maybe. A goblin perhaps. Heck, even a human or dwarf I could see shouting “LET ME ATTEM!”
But nope. Thousands of years of age apparently brings resemblence to one of the most despised and irritating cartoon characters ever created. Fun.
You know, at the time I didn’t like that they killed of Tirion Fordring the way they did back in Legion. Now though I feel that perhaps it was for the best that he didn’t have to be in this dumpsterfire. And given that he died at the start of Legion, he’s not in the Maw either. I actually wonder where he and Varian have ended up.
I dunno, he could also very much be a Maldraxxi, if Alexandros is anything to go by. Both placed a great deal of value in their family. Tirion after years of exile and his son practically growing up without him, still cared a great deal about him. And Alexandros literally asked why he didn’t go to Bastion, only to learn that it was because his memory of his family that gave him strength, something he would’ve had to give up in Bastion. I could very much see Tirion go that same route.
Still, these days being forgotten about is a blessing…
