In the event that the two Stranglethorn zones aren’t enough to contain players, might it be an idea to use Swamp of Sorrows as a potential third zone? Either as it’s actual zone or playing it off as a rather swampy part of Stranglethorn?

It has Alliance, Horde and neutral settlements, there’s a nice battlefield between the Alliance and Horde, and there’s also the Sunken Temple and some troll ruins that can be used to stay with the theme of the campaign. Though ofc I hope everone will be able to fit into the two zones without any trouble.

Many people have expressed interest, how do you intend to deal with the lag of many players?
The current plan is to use both the Cape and Vale of Stranglethorn, which should already mitigate some of it. However, if the lag is completely unbearable, I’d basically crunch the campaign - I’d shift objectives at the end of the campaign forwards, to space people out more, forming new battlegroups as I do so.

I also plan to use similar-looking zones as stand-ins, such as Un’goro, Sholazar, and Krasarang Wilds; which would simply be a vague uncharted territory in-character. The southern regions of Duskwood may also be opened up as part of story progression.
