RWF sponsorship controversy - Why the silence?

But they won’t because Blizzard get to have their cake and eat it.

They get free advertising and exposure while they also get to wriggle out of making “decisions” by saying “well, you know, we don’t REALLY endorse RWF, it’s a community thing so nothing to do with us …”

Hoping no one notices they will gladly trumpet it everywhere they can.

Blizzard Entertainment. Choosing to have double standards or none at all

Blizz never permaban those guilds, even if they break tos.

Certain top guild raid leader admitted they bought gold for real money during bfa, still not permabanned.

I don’t think you can tell anything about how someone is based on how they use the world of warcraft forums :sob: It’s not really that deep.

Yes I can.

If people get so offended by such small things, that they go to the extreme of ignoring him… it tells me many things about the person. Especially in a totally inconsequential environment (like the forums)

If you say so buddy :sob:

Yet, they created an exclusive “services’” channel for RMT and other transactions involving real money. While it’s technically “illegal” - cough cough, they still made a channel for it.

Most of these transactions in that channel are for services sold for real money, not gold.

So, do you really think they care about players like you and me?

People are quick to call “toxic” behaviour… Claiming players to be “bad people” and what not. Well it works both ways you know.

Not sure why you are surprised.

Its not for RMT though. Its for selling boosts. If someone posts a service involving RMT you can report them and usually they get banned, now its another question of how efective those bans are since the people that would post RMT use burner accounts but still.

No, the services channel is specifically for boosts paid with gold. Let’s stick to the facts and not distort them to fit an argument.

RMT is not allowed and can get your account banned.

doesn’t take more than 2 minutes to find the RMT

just saying

" Add my discord " is the precursor
if they reply to you with "add my discord "… its a RMT seller

Then report them. No one is saying that there is no RMT, but the channel is not meant for that and its against ToS.

RWF is not some official blizzard event, they don’t control anything i think, it’s up to the guilds that host it to use whatever sponsors they want
