I don’t want to say this is a joke. We can’t expect a company this large to be able to fix every little thing us intitalled players have an issues with. But for the majority fo people posting THIS IS THE LAST QUEST IN THE GAME FOR THEM. Jesus blizzard. How many months is this gonna continue?

For some reason I got the Sojourner of Hallowfall even tho its a 3 reset long questline lol 
. Now the timegated thing is a since beta existant bug …

Yes, the quest often bugs out when done in a group. Leaving the group, dropping the quest and doing it again, might work but more than often doesn’t. I’d like to mention that when the quest is working, walking over the volatile soil mounds does not make a button appear on the screen as sometimes happens in other quests. You must select the mound, your scarab will start digging at the mound for 4 seconds and the mushroom will appear. Select it.

Yes, since last night this has been an added issue for players who already had the group bug. They are still visible to solo players who are not bugged.
Haven’t been in a group, tried dropping the quest and accepting it again multiple times, still can’t see the soil mounds

Scarab Scouting quest id : 79122
Scarab Scouting prevents me from getting the Sojourner of Azj-Kahet and Rak-Ush Swarmery achievements while doing world quests.
A Party member completed the quest but I can’t select the volatile Soil Mounds. I have disabled all the add-ons and logged in and out. I left the group, abandoned the quest and reacquired it several times. I left the area and returned. I have renamed the cache to no avail.
After reading Blizzard support messages in the forums it states this appears to have been reported to WOW developers.
(Afterward, you get the last part of this quest chain—Permanent Hire. You talk to the NPC Saffrin close by, and unlock the Rak-Ush Swarmery achievement).
PS
The quest can now be completed because it is no longer in the World Quest line which just expired. Blizzard has known about this since Beta and it will happen again on later occasions.

Never been in the group in the first place. I am the most solo player you could ever meet. Until this morning micro patch I was able to see the dirt mounds. Now I dont see them too.

Same issue here, the dirt mounds don’t even show.
I tried everything from restarting the game, abandoning the quest multiple times and selecting every different scarab, talking to the guy at the scarabs and not talking to him…
I’m at a loss for words here, one more quest for Loremaster and i’m getting cucked by a bug that’s been there since beta?

Reporting the same that as of today there aren’t any dirt mounds now.
I tried abandon quest and retake it.
Turned of all add-ons
I have my extra action button mapped to a key that i’ve been spamming (just to see if it’s an issue the extra action button not showing on screen)

Can confirm 31/08/2024 at 16:30ST is still bugged.
Mounds do not appear at all, no additional button.
Quest is the last one needed for Loremaster. Very frustrating

Day 4 of checking. Now the dirt mounds are not even showing up. Very annoying because it is the only quest left for me in the area. Hopeful that it will be patched any time soon

This is still broken. It appears the same area is being used for the truffle shufffle quest maybes this is messing with the Scarab Scourge Quest?
