Season of Discovery Class Tuning Incoming - 17 April

Guess they have hired someone to find out what are the most downvoted suggestions and they implemented them.

Afi warlocks in pvp are busted. What was you thinking ? Jesus do you even play pvp? They are beyond broken.

sooo… where is the PvE Boomie Buff?

Aggrand probably won’t be majorly buffing and nerfing things for a bit longer. There’s more to life than the WCL graph

Thats like the weakest of the specs in PvP. Lmao. You noobs don’t even know what to cry about

Don’t worry they fixed shamans to compensate xD

They probably meant a 1.2x increase in damage and not a 2.2x one.
Wouldn’t be the first time that they are bad with numbers.

Wouldn’t surprise me

I made a post about it… if i am right then they mean base damage x2.2 which turns out as overall damage increase of x1.5 - x1.7, depending on your Spellpower. Because the spellpower part will stay the same and only base dot dmg is doubled

it’s not so much that as to the lack of nerfs to warrior gear scaling. they need to change the way gear scaling for warriors works. You go up and up exponentially as the gear gets better, Other classes don’t do this. This means nothing changes from classic to SoD which is what I want. I have no desire to play classic again, with warriors dominating dps meters in every raid.

Sure hope it’s actually 120% else it would be hardly noticeable for a 10s cast in PVP

Another odd thing is they said “roughly” like how do you put in roughly 120% in code?

How the hell are these things not hotnerfed ASAP:

  • nerf to shamans damage and healing potential regardless of spec
  • rogue nerfs to muti and their damage
  • nerfing boomies healing potential with WG

Still waiting on that Paladin nerf since Phase 1. I thought you weren’t allowed to be biased when working at Blizzard. Refusing to nerf the class you main is pretty embarassing to see, not to mention that you still can’t make a public announcement regarding your brilliant idea of making money by selling hacks to those depressed enough to buy it

Being able to code or count isn’t required to work as a game developer at Blizzard apparently

It’s not the dev’s honest, it’s some hidden evil manager with the final say on decisions messing up SOD, honest

na they have no clue how feral works most useless class in pvp

We’ve added one more change to what’s coming tomorrow:

Paladin

  • The mana return of Seal of Martyrdom has been increased significantly.

As the phases have progressed the value and effectiveness of Shamanistic Rage has increased, mana has essentially become a negligible concern for many horde raids utilizing multiple shamans in phase 3. However, the mana return of Seal of Martyrdom has been comparatively quite modest since the launch of Season of Discovery.

We’ve decided to significantly buff the mana return of Seal of Martyrdom to bring it in line with the mana return of Shamanistic Rage. We recognize that the current phase has seen casters’ power progression fall behind that of melee specs, so we don’t want to further increase that divide at this time. We also don’t want to hinder raid groups who made progress in the raid last week with a nerf.

In general, we feel that mana as a resource should matter, and in the next patch, we’re going to evaluate and tune-down mana return mechanics as a whole to ensure that there is still gameplay around managing it.

Thank you!

Still Horde are by far superior but we will take the W. Only took us 2 weeks of crying on twitter to have it changed somehow.

Where be Starfall, Kaivax mon?

Can you adress the sad state of PVP?
Nerf horde OP racials
Nerf shamans so they be on par with paladins
