are you guys aware that the shaman tank tier 1 (earthfury) 2set bonus does not stack with flurry from the enhancement talent “Flurry”?

there is no indication in the game that the 2set bonus is literally just the Flurry buff proc’d defensively from parry and blocks and it was highly disappointing to learn this first-hand because that makes the set bonus rather bad.

like, stacking it with flurry was what made it appealing but it literally just refreshes flurry the way it currently works (for a total of 30% attack speed).

is this a bug or is this working as intended?
because if its intentional, you might wanna change the tooltip to “Flurry now procs from blocks and parries” and stop leading people to believe there’s a sick 2set bonus waiting for them when they get their tier 1 2set bonus.

btw. this also means that currently, the only valuable set bonus from the shaman tank tier 1 set is the 4set bonus… very underwhelming and disappointing tbh.

please consider allowing the 2set bonus to stack with flurry for 60% total attack speed when combined with the flurry talent.

Still waiting for the damage + attack speed reduction on Paladin bubble. As the tutorial class they need some of their wheelchair capacity reduced.

And what is up with the drop rates. In Vanilla when a binding droped it feelt amazing, in SOD this early in its like “Ok who still needs this”. In one run we got both bindings…

Its like the drop rates are made so that our interest in SOD only last until the next Retail Expansion?

The PvP Event was also meh, killing people trying to get into their lvling dungeons was not a thrill. The best PvP event was the STV one before it became an AOE grind fest at altar.

Season of Discovery

  • The % increase to player health that is present in Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin is now also active in Alterac Valley.
  • Items
    • Shard of the God’s summoned minion now has a 20-yard cone (was 40 yards) and will spend the first 3 seconds of its summon to run into range of a target.
  • Quests
    • “Stave of the Ancients" Demon NPCs will now respawn much more quickly.
  • Druid
    • The bonus on Moonkin Form that increases Moonfire (and Sunfire) periodic damage now increases it by 100% (was 50%).
  • Hunter
    • Immolation Trap now has a 7.5 second duration, but still deals the same amount of damage as it did over 15 seconds. This allows it to deliver all its damage before its cooldown is available again.
    • Raptor Fury now lasts 30 seconds and increases Raptor Strike damage by 15% per application (was 10%).
  • Mage
    • Arcane Barrage now has its mana cost correctly reduced by Clearcasting.
    • Pyroblasts from Hot Streak will no longer consume Clearcasting.
  • Paladin
    • Divine Light now has an 8 second cooldown.
  • Rogue
    • Main Gauche will now correctly be consumed when you Parry an attack, regardless of the type of enemy you are fighting.
    • Focused Attacks now refunds 2 Energy from critical strikes (was 3 Energy).
    • Envenom’s erroneous spell power ratio has been removed.
  • Shaman
    • Shamanistic Rage now grants the rest of the party and raid 18% of the mana granted to the Shaman (was 10%).
      • Developers’ notes: This change was made to better equalize mana provided to parties and raids between horde and alliance.
    • Warlock
      • Warlock pets will now correctly benefit from Fel Armor’s increase to their master’s spell power.

I was hoping for another meme Warrior change like “Thrall now properly glares at Warriors entering his hall” or “The Focused Rage rune will now properly reduce the cost of Charge by 3”.

Yay, our demons will now have more spellpower and attackpower while lying dead on the floor :rofl:

And hunter buffs :smiley:

I think we need more content boys, perhaps Eye of the storm with some new rep rewards.

Why is this still a thing. Increasing HP devalues items with constant values like health pots, food, etc.
Meanwhile there is also a PVP aura that reduces damage.
Why are there two mechanics that fill the same role?

Why not remove all of this increased HP% and change the aura to be a blanket 50% reduction of damage/healing.

This would make PVP consistent everywhere, even in the world.

And you also NEED to fix the aura for pets.

Maybe that’s exactly what they want ?
Imagine the power of a greater fire protection potion when fighting fire mage, destro wl, ele shaman or hunter traps …
It absorbs up to 3k fire damage and that is pretty overpowered if there was just a flat -50% damage instead of a balance between damage refuction + hp pool bonus

The power of such potion would be as design in classic.

    2: No fix of the Threat issues tank warrior have
    3: Balance Druid still F - tier dps need way more.
    4: Rogue Aoe Theat need a hand or that class can’t be use outside singletarget.
    5: where’s the racial equality!

Great, so Hpala bottom of the pack healing wise for 3 phases. We finally get into a good place and we nerfed to the ground with a 40-60% throughput nerf within 3 weeks.
It was forgiverble at our lack of toolkit compared to other healers when we were in a good place, but such a massive nerf without our promised toolkit update is ridiculous.
We’re back to vanilla healing + beacon AGAIN.

Worst mechanic period, PvP gear should simply provide that stamina rather than everyone being literal tanks. There’s no difference between r0 and r10 in terms of HP and capabilities now.
People should have to PvP if they want to survive, and not getting screwed into oblivion after the honor and rep grind.

How about actually making certain mobs in Searing Gorge a hyperspawn so the quests are actually doable, cough Dark Iron Dwarfs for Cluster quest item?

Great nerf the only viable spell for HPal and PvP paladin in terms of healing output by adding a CD. Yet riptide is literally still instant and costs little to no mana.
What the hell are you guys smoking over there, literally noone asked for a HPal nerf.
At least remove the 50% healing reduction of Guarded so paladins can actually use their heals without a massive penality.

Horde literally had better mana batteries than Alliance before this buff, what the hell you yapping about.
If you guys would actually look at the numbers from wclogs->raid->resources->mana, then you could easily see the picture.
Horde has more effective mana than alliance, alliance has more wasted mana(toomuch).
This should’ve been a nerf rather than picking your favoritsm once again.

Nerf the capabilities of Elementals and Restos

  • Riptide
  • Power Surge
  • Flame Shock
  • Lava Burst
  • Shamanistic Rage.
    … all of which are overtuned in terms of either healing, RNG, CD or damage.

Clearly you guys are not even playing the game at this point, please resign you incompetent clowns.

I absolutely agree with this. If damage is too high in pvp and people who care about that wants a compensation then they should buckle up and start grinding honor or specifically try to gather high stam pieces like it used to be with world bosses. But blizz not only butchered the privilage of having a pvp set they also reduced the stamina value of all good pvp pieces that can be obtained via pve. Then they shamelessly add a global stam increase and dmg reduction which imo kills the whole spirit of a mmorpg.

And mind you, honor decay doesn’t exist and AV is literally pumping good honor/hour.

Hpala was best this phase so far yes. But for last 3 phases was bottom of the pack by a mile. Druids and Priests were miles ahead last phase in particular, I don’t remember you you all calling for nerfs then with your smart AoE heals sniping everything.
On top of all that you have close to your full toolkit from Cata, and Paladins are now back to FoL spam with beacon added.

There is no way to see the Mature Black Dragon Sinew drop rate being increased a little bit plz
