Season of Discovery

  • Battlegrounds
    • Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch now award more Marks of Honor to the losing team when the match ends, based on the performance of the losing team.
    • The losing team will always get 1 Mark of Honor, plus 1 extra for each flag capture in Warsong Gulch, or for each 600 resources earned in Arathi Basin.
    • The winning team will now always receive 4 Marks of Honor.
  • Mage
    • Fixed a problem with the Tier 2 Mage 6-piece damage set bonus that caused Fireball damage to not be increased unless the Mage was within 24 yards of the target. It will now work properly at any range.
  • Priest
    • Mind Spike now properly consumes charges from the Zandalarian Hero Charm.
  • Rogue
    • The Venomous Totem will now properly increase the chance for Instant Poison to trigger from Deadly Brew (when no poison is applied).

Its not perfect but I think its a good solution.

on paper that sounds okay BUT when you have pug vs premade this is irrelevant

Unless premades are moved to a separate q where they fight premades vs premades only all changes done to PVP rewards/marks are useless. Pugs can do nothing about premades. Usually when you solo q it’s 99% chance stomp lose with 0 bases in AB or 0 flags in WSG. IF you want to keep premades vs pugs queues, at least add a checkmark for solo q “Agree to play against premades”. I’m okay waiting longer queues if I play only vs pugs in solo q.

still no fix for the warlock pet bug ? are you guy even trying?

Getting stomped in loop vs premades in arathi with 10mn queue to get 0 kill and 1 mark is NOT FUN.
We all wished you had better ideas of a cool event for this phase but you didn’t have any sadly.
Please let us farm honor in Alterac with proper rewards.

  • Fixed an issue where Envenom was not increasing Instant Poison’s frequency unless the Rogue was also using Deadly Brew. It will now always increase the chance properly.

Riptide and Earth Shield Stealth Nerfed 50%

List of Shaman Nerfs Overtime that Cripple the PvP

1 - 80% reduction in AP bonus of rockbitter
2 - Can’t use way of earth while dual wielding
3 - Removal of mental dexterity healing bonus
4 - Can’t use Healing Wave or Chain Heal with maelstrom weapon charges
5 - Riptide stoped proc’ing power surge
6 - Way of Earth reduced spells range to 20 yards
7 - Flametongue stopped increasing spell bonus unless enchanted in main hand
8 - Riptide and Earth shield healing cut by 50%. Now riptide does roughly 300 direct heal + 300 HOT and earth shield 152 heal
9 - Removal of ability to use shamanistic rage while stunned

So an enhancment shaman is the lowest dps already of the melees in PvE and now is super crippled in PvP too.
No defensives while stunned. No healing power bonuses. We have to choose between doing 700 dmg with lightning bolt or 700 heal with lesser heal with 5 stacks of maelstrom. Cant use survivability runes without beeing tank set up. Now we cant even self heal with riptide or earth shield cause its healing is 50% of a dot tick crit.

This is a bad joke and you should be embarassed of yourselves for destroying a class this much in PvP which was already the worst melee dpser of all melees in PvE.

You just killed 1 class spec. Very good job. The paladin and alliance lovers must be proud of you

  • Tier 2 belt tokens no longer drop in Blackwing Lair. Prince Thunderaan still drops two belt tokens, and his single loot table for unique gear has been split in two.
    • Developers’ notes: The BWL change should result in players seeing more set pieces from other gear slots from Nefarian and the bonus chests. Prince Thunderaan’s split loot table now grants players an extra item every kill.

please please please have a look and push a fix for this issue effecting EU and US users. Almost a month and nothing from blizzard, its making the game horrendous to play

How about leave the Tier 2 Belts on Nef aswell? Not everyone is lucky to receive belt or the correct one they need from Thunderaan.

Also allow coreforged back to Draconic. Most people can’t use their new acquired tier unless they have 6p of the new set without breaking MC tier, at least that allows some partial upgrades then do full swap back to Draconic once you have everything. Or people can get bored of their T1 set bonus and wanna try out the T2 set without having to regrind the entire set. We already need to regrind for OS, no point to add that ON TOP of that.

Also it’s punishing for a lot of people who don’t know they can’t swap back.

It’s like you guys are purposely making a bad decision after another to make people quit.

Yea that is sux, i vote for shamans to have immun to all dmg 100% without limit.

When are you going to fix solo queue bg ? People get stomped nearly 99% of the time when pugs meet premades. Most tryhards are already rank 13 so no point continuing this premade madness. Let normal ppl play bgs.

still waiting for a readjustment on healing in PvP, shouldnt take 2+ competent dps to kill a healer or his heal target.

  • Druid
    • Fixed a problem where the Druid PvP sets allowed multiple movement speed increases to stack. They no longer stack.
  • Hunter
    • When Chimera Shot is used with Serpent Sting, the extra effect now benefits properly from ranged weapon skills and gets the correct 10% critical strike chance increase from Sniper Training (was incorrectly 20%).
