I had total freeze-down every time i changed from one map to another (f.ex. Jade Forest to Wilds of Karang); often when i finally got there, no mobs, not anybody, NPC or otherwise; my pets (am Hunter BM) didnt react to commands, or didnt appear when i landed
Soo strange that it effected ppl like that and others nothing… How is that even possible lol.
Not really, think about all the possible configurations a PC or network can have, settings, operating systems, game settings, location and connection to specific data centers, different server instances,…
And then I’m not even talking much about Blizzard’s infrastructure.
There’s so many variables that its not that uncommon to have issues for some and not for others. If enough have it, they’ll go out of their way for a fix, if its few… than you’ll have to have patience. 
to be honest its the same thing happening every patch hot fix , update how many years can they not get it right ffs
