U can still reroll Aldor and Scryers but it’s not easy, even a fos achiv to get exalted with both on the same char

What I’m assuming is to unlock everything you will need four toons for each covenant, one per armour type. I also assume that a character will be able to only use the transmog for their respective covenant. I think that’s what makes sense.
Rerolling from Aldor to Scryers (or vice-versa) was easier when it was current if you had a bunch of gold to spend compared with what will probably be in Shadowlands. Covenant switching will be probably something time-gated
But that’s another thing: Aldor and Scryers had items and recipes that was power-enhancing, here we are talking about trasmogs that will be just cosmetics, even the Artifacts are something a little different cause they was tied to a certain class / spec, Covenant trasmog it isn’t

It might be like class rewards, only usable on that class or others of same class. So only your night fae characters can use night fae equipment and if you change covenant, you will probably lose your old rewards in turn for the new ones.
Bare in mind that if you already have a lol 60 and unlocked your covenant, you can already choose a covenant on your alt even if they are just lol 50 and working towards endgame.
You wont be able to use all sets from all covenants. You can use cosmetics items only for your chossen covenant. If you swap you will propably keep them but you wont be able to use them becouuse your agency will change.
And no this isnt bad system at all. If they would just let you farm all of cosmetics then use it for free regardless of covenants than that would go againts everything what is Blizzard trying to do with covenants. There is no choice if you just can get everything and have acess to everything.
You cant use cosmetics of other covenants.
This is worst system I even seen. No alt friend and no player friendly. Even If I want chose one covenant because ability or cosmetic I need do all of them before because quest, lore and achivments.
And? You are not playing single player, You shouldnt expect everything be acessible to you.
