I genuinely thought this was the S1 version…
I don’t care if they make it pink or rainbow, just at least make it different enough so we can associate the colours with each season. Without looking up, I wouldn’t know which one is which…

I would of approved of pink or purple, no bias ofc.
I really think the whole process looked like this:
“Ey yo anyone knows how to fix the color of the sparkle on the KSM mount? The red one still sparkles green!”
“Nah, the dude who made it is gone / got yeeted”
“Meh , screw it, make it a very similar color so no one notices”
“Aight, let’s do it like that”
Edit: i bet the new one will have still the same sparkle color XD the wrong one
That’s definitely a fair concern, but I don’t think, having the samish color each season really solves it.
This also extends to a lot of other mounts, which stay available. A lot of the mounts this expansion are just different shades of gray.
I personally just prefer more distinct recolors (Think of the proto drakes in wrath for example. They range from green over blue and red to purple).
It’s just boring.

Wish they would’ve added a piggy bank mount.
After all we’re all pretty crazy we’re playing in S4 as there is literally 0 new content and we still pay 13,99/mo.

I am 100% with you on this as i already said.
But for example I hated prideful, it was such an unenjoyable affix that i stopped doing keys and then playing.
I would have hated chosing between “lose the unique mount or force myself with prideful” but knowing about S2 recolor i totally ignored s1 ksm.
Why cant it be purple, why must we have one that looks so similar to s2
Yellow to match holy light would have been nice too.

that one would be at least somehow different
its important symptom though of things to come in DF
i mean - they know next tier will be mostly skipped by everybody .
new cool mount would give incentive to at least sub back and get that KSM mount
but this garbage ? ye this tells a lot of their design philosophy for 10.0
I like this one - It looks cold.

Weirdly enough, the raid mount is something people are looking for.
The m+ , not so much.
