Another 3k andy, its like the entire forum is casual lol ![]()
Look finder and u can see 100+ booster advertisement. Not hard to get those number when someone else do the job for you.
I tried this in Legion Remix. It works fine with some classes and its sh… with others. DK… it just gives me something like auto-attack. I cant kill anything.
Just accept the fact that most players in your bracket (which is low keys bracet) is full of casual players. Push to title range keys if you wanna play with better players but I’m afraid they might start making threads about you ![]()
His attitude is why he needs to pugs such high keys. Nobody can be bothered with his trash attitude
OP getting mass reported for speaking the truth says a lot about the garbage society we live in. The only players who can defend a guy pressing 1 button throughout a whole dungeon are the ones who are abusing this crappy system that should’ve never existed to begin with.
I don’t care if Bliz itself implemented this, people pressing 1 button in challenging content should be banned for griefing, and us regular players should be able to detect those other players so we don’t have to carry them, especially now that you get punished for leaving a group.
What a tragic combination of events.
This.
I’m currently getting my hunter ready for m+ and the amount of people in +15 range that play like headless chickens is astonishing.
I’m sure the thread author has many M+ titles. They are just on his other accounts.
Which has been the case before OBR existed. Nothing new.
The only truth in this thread is that you have a seemingly atrocious personality.
Then again, the one comfort is that the player you’re ranting about can always improve and get better. Your personality, however … there’s not much that can be done about that.
But consider then how the rest of us feels having to share the game with people like you.
That, if anything, is making this game less appealing.
The introduction of OBR did not improve the situation.
I would say it made it worse looking at this forum post. Not just from OP but also from most defenders.
So far, the only thing I read from their side is that you are expected to carry them in higher keys otherwise you are the toxic person.
For me, thats extremely far away from common sense.
Most of us dont want to shame OBR/SBA users. But some people seem to believe everyone who talks negative about it, somehow do and will overreact hard.
Exactly. That is the issue. They want the comfort of the OBR (which leads to a lower dmg) but at the same time they expect everyone else to play to some idiotic standard that they themselves cant even reach. That just doesnt make any sense.
Imo, it is not about OBR problem, it is more about OP expectations when pugging.
NBA player wont come to public playground, pick few random guys and expect stellar performance from them. That is why exclusive clubs exist, where likeminded people meet.
Pugging is like “box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get”.
I’d rather have someone using the one button rotation than failing miserably at their rotation and getting outdamaged by the tank or even me as the healer(yes, this has happened).
I don’t play Mithic content.
Even if the OBR (One Button Rotation) system didn’t existed, and I was playing only one class, only one spec 24/7 I still wouldn’t want to play it. I have enough stress at my job, 9 hours a day, 45 hours a week. I play to relax not to be put to the test. I have my real life challenges for it.
That being said, the OBR system allowed me to simplify my gameplay in classes and specs I don’t play often.
Getting the right talents, is easy. I just go to Icy-veins and copy/paste it.
Getting the buttons correctly in your toolbar and master the rotation it’s an entire different thing. And when you enjoy playing at level 80 all the classes in the game with the majority of specs available something needs to be made easier. For example I love playing all roles on my 4 Paladins. But I have my limitations. I play mostly Holy, followed by Protection with Retribution being assigned to the OBR system. I simply don’t have the patience to organise a 3rd spec, on 4 different characters, placing buttons on the correct order in the toolbar and memorising spells and rotations.
The OBR system was the best thing for players like me. It allows me to watch what the system choses vs what I would chose.
I don’t use addons as I like to have a clean, simple interface. So in order to do the best damage out if my character (healing and tanking don’t require top dps in LFD and LFR) I leave it to the OBR to decide it.
Even if the OBR system would be removed tomorrow, that wouldn’t change the fact that bad players will still play bad in Mithic dungeons. Gear ILV, scores, don’t matter if the player doesn’t know what to interrup, what to avoid and where to go inside the dungeon. Because before the OBR complains came, the thing players complained the most were: other players leaving keys in the middle of the run, players that had good gear, good score but still did low dmg and died a lot due to their mistakes (they probably paid gold and got carried).
I’d rather have people with a functioning brain, but for some reason we accept a TBC meme as a reasonable rotation in 2025.
Euuuhhh yeah, that’s not why he’s getting reported. ![]()
I’m going to assume that blizz implemented OBA so people can focus on mechanics and survival rather than tunnel visioning on their rotation. Not so they can be lazy when playing a new class.
OP is right in the sense that if someone uses OBA and still fails at mechanics in 10+ keys, they really shouldn’t be there.
Nope they said it was a learning tool and accessability option and IT SHOULD NOT BE USED IN HIGH END CONTENT. That last part seems to be what people keep ignoring about it.
