You can copy the text it pops out and ask it if it’s AI written, to which obviously it will tell you it is. Ask it to rephrase it and rewrite it as humanly as possible. Ask it to write it as a high schooler, otherwise it will go academically “superior” on you.

I dont do M+ for “status” nor “prestige”. Others may. I cant speak for them
For me it is about climbing a ladder from the bottom up. How far can i get given the public only. I will not be picky when it comes to classes. I dont even look at the comps when i apply either. Does the group need a healer? Yes. Is it on my list of dungeons i need to do? Yes. So i apply.
I start at the bottom each expansion. Normals. Then HC then 0. For each dungeon. When i am comfortable with 0 i move to all dungeons in 2. Then all in 3 then all in 4 and so on and so on. Using only the public. I tend to burn out before i reach my limit.
BfA and SL i did 15’s. In Bfa i was ticked off with blizzard for not doing a damn thing about the bots taking all the herbs 24/7 at the end of 8.2.5. So i left. So 15’s is as high as i got in those expansions.
Right now i am sitting at all 7’s done and i am trying to improve my time on some of them before moving up to 8’s. Then 9’s if i can take 8’s.
Its a challenge thing. Can i do it?
Doing it with the public is not always easy and a walk in the park. The public comes with their own set of skills and gear levels.
During Bfa i healed a group with a ridiculously low geared tank through a key. At the end the tank said sorry to me. I asked him what for. He said cos of my gear. He was very low geared indeed but i just did my job. People at the time said i did not do what i did and i had to show them the proof of what i did on RIO’s own page. That dungeon run is still up there but the stats wont speak to you like they would at the time.
Tank was 414 in a 9 Atal when tanks were expected to be 460 for that key. I dont know ho wi did it but i did. I was 459 as healer, Fury 448, Pally 462, Rogue 451. Tank BDK 414.
I suspect a blizzard intervention that would bar the ability to filter out and detect OBR users. Incoming heals are already being talked about and slated for removals so the API will look different soon.
If they do that and keep my workload the same and i still have to listen to git gud comments from OBR users i will limit my healing the public in M+ keys. If tanks do that as well DPS will have issues.
I dont think it is fair to just give DPS a tool to go afk with nearly while tank and healer still have to take on the same workload as before. As resto i have to have HOTS on which means i am constantly casting. If HOTS are not on and people die then that is partially my fault.
If you die to a one shot while i have hots on then you better look at what you did and try not to do the same thing the next time. As in drop threat, heal or run for your life. Rogue’s opening before the tank frequently end up dead in one shot situations. Their fault.

Aye. And as soon as access to the combat log for addons is blocked, it will be impossible to detect unless you´re using a stopwatch to time the delay between instant casts.
Moreover, most people complaining about OBR users simnply need to start concentrating on their own performance and not constantly looking for a new way to make someone else their scapegoat for failure. Nobody is trying to get rid of Hekili and GSM users, who are arguably just as “bad”, but someone using the OBR is, as we can see in this thread and others, already the root cause of all evil.
There´s absolutely no consideration given in these discussions as to whether that person might in fact be the only reason you´re not wiping even more often ,becasue he might in fact be the only person actually playing important mechanics or kicking important casts… because just the pure fact that they´re using OBR for their dmg rotation makes them by definition “bad”.
Far be it from me to wish people ill over something as stupid and trivial as a videogame, but some people might need to experience the effects of a physical disability or at least meet and play with someone that has one before leaning out of the window so far.
They already have issues, because their inccesant toxicity and “I know everything better that you, Noob” schtick drove many tanks and healers away from pugging years ago. People like myself that spent the loins share of their time pugging dungeons and raids from TBC->BFA just eventually said “F this and f you, do it yourself then if you´re so much better”, and we haven’t even considerend pugging and categorically refuse to see them in guild raids ever since. They poisoned the well, so let them drink from it.

the SBA spell is flagged as hidden so we are not able to track it which is a shame.
as mentioned multiple times, i don’t care if someone is using it, i don’t care if that person is doing more dmg than other dps i could pick up for my group i don’t want to play with perfectly healthy people that are to lazy to learn their rotation. just let me filter out those that are using it.
I’m all for the rota helper so ppl can learn what to press next or maybe have a helping hand in stressful situations but straight up having the game played for you is stupid beyond any reason
while he had a few stupid takes about the topic squishei from the bench had a good idea, make a mage tower like challenge mode where you need to execute the rota perfectly to get an achievement we all are point driven monkeys and would jump on that in a blink of an eye. Also better tooltips so ppl dont need to learn outside the game why some skills are pressed in a specific order.

for me personally i’d rather play with a worse dps than a bot and you can bet on it GSE would be first on the chopping block if i could kick an addon right now. i have 0 respect for ppl using GSE and would not play with this person if i would know if they use it.
Hekilli and the rota helper are fine so ppl can get the gist of their rotation and maybe have a helping and in a stressful situation
its not about being good or bad is about playing with ppl vs playing with bots.
as a tank main it’s going to be a fixed group now for me, i probably will play less but at leaset i can ensure a person is playing the game.
this is one way to get even less keys in LFG for all the DPS

All you need to do is calculate delay between user’s actions. They can’t ban that.
I understand that it would be useless for mythic+ but hey, I’ll take what I can get.
I mean you can ask everyone to hit a target dummy before the key.
But from what I understand if you do the rotation of a warlock the timing would be of because of casts or did I misunderstand that.
No, the guy said that rotation for warlock is outright incorrect due to some weird mage reasons.
The introduction of the SBA had the same effect on me. I will look for a fixed group and dodge pugs as much as possible
I applied to a group earlier for an “Emissary weekly”. I assumed it was a M0.
At the start one of the dps, a warlock, said that they are using the OBR to see what it was like.
I thought to myself. Ok. This is a zero. Lets see what this is like in a zero stress environment and cant i see the difference.
Key pops and all of a sudden its a 6 key in Theater of Pain. So much for no stress and so much for a Zero key. This was not listed as a 6.
Stress. Bosses took forever and i could feel that this was taking longer than normal. Close to 3 min on the bosses.
I was a bit upset that i was tricked into healing this thing.
We finished with less than 2 min to spare and it was messy. Nobody stacking on Kutharok and i went frantically looking for somebody to stack with but they all dispersed like kids at an illegal raid party.
Afterwards i could tell that the OBR was in use. The dungeon took way longer than normal dungeons at 6. When you add time to the GCD then this lengthens the fights.
That’s how they do it in ESO before guild raids!
Perhaps that’s your answer. Use guilds for runs.
Demonology is great with one button. Just have Implosion and Demonbolt on seperate keybinds.
They also have on one button class, it’s called Druid !
