I think a week to experience the new areas and story is healthy for the game, but I wouldn’t mind if hc dungeons opened up so you could gear some alts once you’re done with everything on your main. Feels weird to be in a limbo between S1 and S2.
Then compare between DF launch and S1 then S1 and S2 or S3 and S4. Between Seasons WITHIN the expansions. There was a transitioning period. Heck go the freaking raider io and check anyones history. You will see Season 1, season 1 - post, season 2, season 2 post and etc.
Having a transitioning period between seasons within the expansion. IS NOT something TWW unique.
And you are literarly acting as if Blizzard is trying to take away your children. You will get your numbers simulator in a week. Oh the horror…how will you ever live through this tragedy? 
My Holy Priest build changed significantly, losing almost half of my previous talent setup. I enjoyed exploring the new quests and rebuilding the tree yesterday. Running a Mythic 9 with the new build was fantastic – the Holy Priest power feels great! However, I’m finding the new D.R.I.V.E. feature frustrating. It seems prone to crashes, and I’m seeing more players using regular mounts. Personally, I struggle with the boost and drift controls, so I’m avoiding them for now.
However, you can also do the dailies and still get some new “Veteran” rank 1/8 gear around 623 Ilvl. You can upgrade it in week one with the new valor stones and a few crests you earn to around rank 629Ilvl.
I didn’t play DF after S1.
How is that supposed to make any sense? Is S1 over now? Why don’t we have “Season 1 - post”? We do we still get M+ score? So what now? Did the Season end? If yes, why do we keep getting score? If it’s not over, where are my crests? You can’t have it both ways lmao…
You completely fail to comprehend the point because you are blindly defending non sense. Which is also the reason why you make non sense arguments as just shown above. Take a step back, calm down and stop defending non sense just for the sake of being a white knight. Feel free to think for yourself and call out non-sense when it’s there. Stop defending non sense for literally no reason.
Diablo 4 doesn’t have any downtime between seasons.
So, Diablo 4 is handling seasons much better.
But D4 doesn’t release a new zone each season with a full story to experience.
Now this is the first useful information in this thread so far. What dailies are you talking about? I saw a guy with a 645 neck but he couldn’t communicate where he got it from.
Then do your homework before claiming that “it always been like that”.
Because during transition periods, aka new patch weeks. Classes can get reworks, buffs, nerfs some previously D tier classes can skyrocket to S tier and…vice versa. To prevent dramatically skewing the “playground” they separate them.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting to get this gear yet, so I didn’t really pay much attention… So sorry!
So I went from giving useful info to be utterly useless

Took me 15 minutes to cap the lowest crests and that allows you to make 3 pieces of 629 gear.
Answers which disagrees with him obviously. Cause its his way or “you are a shill, white knight, defending nonsense” and etc.

Best part is, you can do 7 if your character is freshly dinged and managed to cap all renowns. Old renown rewards give undermine crests. I got 210 weathered crests in total. 
Honestly I can understand that some are chomping at the bit to get stuck into the new season but it’s not out yet. This isn’t new to WoW. This is how it works and it was publicised in advance. Some may wish it was different. I personally enjoy this as I have time to enjoy the new patch before the gearing madness starts. Others wont.

I mean, it is a bit silly.
Blizzard basically reserves a week so everyone can take time to enjoy the genius of their new story, which is so straightforward that you kind of question the need for it.
