So let me get this straight, we've got 3 new daily quests and that's the entire patch Chains of domination

When will they fix BFA dungeons? I want to go do Glory achievs…

To be fair, Blizz seem to think that someone collecting all the transmogs in less than 2 years is breaking the game, so jumping 20 ilvls is probably intolerable to them

FF14 is stupid tbh, I do play another game already which isn’t FF how ever it is shame wow got ruined by greed.

They broke scaling with the sl prepatch after telling us it wouldn’t affect scaling then had the gall to tell us “oh it will all be fine at end of sl and your conduits are maxed”

Given the long history of “lol . You believed us??!!” are we really that surprised?

On the other hand you know the saying - “exploit early, exploit often”

True - usually followed by ‘why they ban me…’

I don’t know why you think it’s stupid, but i guess you do you.

For me, I’ve seen enough in that game to realize that it’s far superior to retail wow.

I hate doing mythic+. In wow, I do it for the sake of gear, but it isn’t enjoyable whatsoever. I don’t pvp. And i’m not a mythic raider either. At most, I do heroic raiding. And i can find all of that in FF14 anyways. And that basically is everything wow offers at the moment. There’s a better torghast in ff. A better community. Far less toxicity. A much much better development team and support. better professions, better a lot of things. And it’s cheaper too.

honestly, I saw things in that game that made me question my understanding of what an MMORPG should be. I got so focused into playing solo content in wow with others, without talking or caring that i forgot i play in a community.

I considered FF14 as a solid competitor to wow. Now after 9.1 release? I don’t feel like there’s a competition at all. FF14 is superior, unless you’re into super high end stuff and love spamming the same dungeon 2~3 years, over and over.

I quit as well. This game is a joke.

I have to object about that. My last payment for 6 months was EUR 154.74

why? It’s 66 euros for 6 months. Why did you pay 155?

Additional retainers and companion app.

you nearly paid 3 times the necessary amount for additional retainers and companion app? What?

I don’t understand tbh. That’s like spending 300$ on wow mount shop and considering it the price of the game.

I used to do high end content, then in BFA I did only hc raids and M+, I like doing M+ and M raids, but, as I don’t have much time to play anymore I can’t commit to guild so I mostly pug which isn’t ideal for raiding and for M+, at the end I still manage to get the end game xp, but with much more time wasted than usual, because the game forces you this way. Anyway, I’ve tried FF14, wasn’t impressed tbh. Maybe I didn’t gave it enough time, but if it doesn’t grab me until lvl 20 I won’t go further:)

Bags space is quite limited in 14.

ahh i see. 20 levels is nothing in FF14. You basically went through the beginning of a realm reborn patch. Which is by far the worst one of FF patches. The good stuff starts later. You kind of have to tolerate 40~50 levels for things to get to fun stuff. in the first 20 levels, you got like 3 active abilities and that’s pretty much it. It gets a lot more interesting later on.

Personally though, It wasn’t much of a grind for me to push through the early levels. I enjoyed it. Or maybe that’s because I went through leveling 12 characters in BFA to 120. So i’m used to boring grinds. Compared to that, FF leveling was a breath of fresh air.

2 retainers+your chocobo and your own inventory. I think that should generally be enough for most people. I don’t know what you’re doing that requires you this much space. But maybe keep some stuff in your inn. like the mogs and such.

and we still 6month subbed

Oh they would. Maybe check some chat logs, maybe check if you ran maw of souls on a clothie on a regular basis but they would most certainly bann a lot for exploiting it.

This is what happens when you have a lead design (Ion) who is basically a number crunching high end guy who finds this sort of content absolute fun. He needs to be replaced or simply left to focus on dungeons/raids (which I think all of us can happily admit, is extremely well done) and someone brought in to assist with world building and actual casual content.

Ion’s just a face. He’s not responsible for everything. I don’t feel this is one person’s fault. Multiple problems exist.

I think Jesse Cox video nailed it perfectly.

WoW is about the endgame. FF14 is about the journey. Each works in it’s own unique way which makes comparision about null/void in any accurate sense because they’re both aiming for different things.
