So Undermine is here! What do we think?

I am not that keen on the theme, it’s obviously a completely suitable theme for World of Warcraft but I find most of the Goblin aesthetic fairly ugly. I don’t like the armour, weapons etc.

I do not get on with the super speedy car of so I just mosy around on my ground mount. It is comical seeing crash into everything while I’m running around in slow mode. It took me all of yesterday to stop expecting to take off to the skies though .

Yesterday I spent hours in Undermine and there were a lot of quests and dailies which I enjoyed. It got me to renown 6 and today I hit 7. So that is going pretty well. Today is much more chill on the quest front as only a couple of WQs popped up. Worked my way through some of the achievements. I’m not in a hurry to do get everything done in one go. Soem things will just happen over the course of the tier.

I did unlock the other two backgrounds for the Warcamp. The last one will have to wait until S2 actually starts.

I think that green arrow is only visible when you click on a certain quest in your questlog?

The green arrow over your head is when you are doing shipping and handling tasks.

The car has a choice node (a flower icon, or something) at D.R.I.V.E where you decrease the speed of the car heavily

I just wanna say though guys. Your feedback is valuable and all. If you think the aestetics are ugly and all thats fine too… But let the gobbos have their moment to shine? xD they haven’t had a zone or content really dedicated to them since their race launched.

Lets let the gobbo fans enjoy this.

Of course I would totally hate it if Big G dies but I have hope Blizzard is smart enough that his comedial cameo would leave the rest of the world less fun. And it would make Jaina having plot armor a meme.

I am already done on my main(Zandalari shaman) so I use my time to bring my 4 other alts to do it too so I can od there for RP when the big event starts on my server in a few weeks.

Oh go on. Forgive yourself for those late night bar counter dancers under the influence of Tequila Sunrise (very 80’s popular drink back then) Once you done that you can enjoy Jazz again

Plus sides:

• The zone is very accurate to the goblin theme
• The delve I did was more interesting than some of the delves in season 1

Downsides:

• The handling of the car reminds me of some of the worst vehicle combat in FPS games of the 90s.
• The overworld, despite being a low geared character relative to this season (635 where endgame gear will be 670 or more) is still a case of grind through the mobs with no real threat present
• Some of the layouts are deliberately confusing and seem designed to do nothing other than make it take longer.
• I like Jazz, but not the music here.

thats because the “endgame” from pure openworld is capped at 645 because thats where the carved crests are capped.

thats why at 639 you are plowing though mobs.

yeah but then whats the point of using that.

problem is that zone is just not designed like need for speed streets were designed to accomodate that kind of gameplay style .

they could have designed it that way - but they went into cramped-you-crash-into everything - design .

do you know - paradoxaly - where this drive mode woudl fit perfectly ? into original classic zones - vast open space with next to not natural barriers.

The point is with that option that people then do not crash in anything all the time.

I’ve got “Avowed” to try out

Let us know what your thoughts are. So far there has been some very mixed reviews on it. This prevented me from purchasing it and the comparisons to Skyrim did not help their cause either. Still would love to know what you think so bookmark to reply.
