No, you’re implying it becomes a 310% if you have a mount like ashes of al’ar, or i’m misunderstanding you.
Either way, unless blizz decides to change this as well (wotlk reforged), the deluxe mount is capped at 280%.
They only became account wide with Cata.
Not gonna buy it at the start. Might bought it when it’s on sale like TBC deluxe was. The price was merely a the amount of 1 month of subscription and it included 30 days of game time, basically they gave it for free
You are. I merely said the mount will scale to your highest learned skill. The other poster went on and on about mount skill being tied to certain mounts, which is correct - I gave Ashes as a 310% mount as an example - but it’s not what I meant with this Deluxe buyable mount.
Since I’m going fresh, I won’t be able to at first, but if they make it available on fresh after a few month, I think I will.
If you deduct the month sub, it’s like 25€ the boost. 25€ is like 1-2 hours work (i am paid by the day), so the way i see it, i can work 2 hours and get a 70 or i can play 2 hours and get a lvl 20 at best.
True, but leveling up is part of the fun for me. I find making a new char and experiencing all the questlines again to be very relaxing at times. In Wrath it doesn’t take long at all to level up so it’s not really a chore.
Many better things to spend money on
Like 3 big kebab sweaty meals
People buying this for a 16 year old game and there’s people that can’t afford to eat
this world man
I will certainly level 1-70 2 characters, one during the prepatch and one during wotlk, when endgame slows down.
Don’t risk a heart attack bro.
Maybe i’ll buy a XXXXL shirt instead bro
I saw the thing on the shop and wow (sic!) how deliberately obscure can you design a product.
I really had to scroll and click a lot to see what the editions do and what the differences are. Thanks, Blizzard, really.
I mean the store versions
They were not really account wide, but all the toons you had when you bought them, had it. I think that new ones got it in the mail, so, not account wide, in the sense it was after Cata, but for all characters on the account - I hope you can see the difference
Alright my bad for misunderstanding then. Just as long as we’re on the same page that the deluxe mount scales with riding skill and riding skill only goes up to 280% in wotlk.
Your 310% learning comment threw me off guard probably, which wasn’t yet available in wotlk.
Yeah I wasn’t sure about that, but someone else pointed out to me it came out in Cata.
Short answer: No.
Why? This:
And to answer your original question: I’ll probably skip the mount but I’ll buy the boost.
Instant flight form just beats every flying mount they can come up with
only if the mount is 310% speed… otherwise not. Not need the boost already have the classes I want at 60-70
Violet proto drake is - as the tooltip says “A very fast mount that can be summoned only in Northrend or Outlands”
So yes 310 and character-bound I look forward to doing this again!
I’ll buy it but I need to really think as to what class I will boost. I don’t play the last one I boosted.
People will use it to boost a healer or tank then never play them or use a DPS spec.
