SoB m+ too hard for basic players

Unfortunately this is not even working in leveling dungeons. You should have heared a couple of players yesterday in a leveling Dawnbreaker :grimacing:
I mean, i get it… the green wave on the last boss got multiple times for example put on the wrong side. And i was the only one doing the bombs. Ignoring everything else that happend before it. But people were not happy :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway; i dont know. Siege boss 1 should just spawn instant bombs so the first fixate can be on a bomb. And probably fixate should not be on the healer.

Which makes it a great boss imo, because its unique

i think the the part where the bomb explodes and kill the group is more important

I would even say SoB is one of the easy dungeons in this season. It was annoying because of knockback RNG, but since they removed the knockback from the last boss completely, its not hard.

My point is if your not noticing mistakes you can’t fix them. They removed the learning levels so this is what happens

isn’t like dbm telling you to kite boss into bombs?
i use Big wigs and i always have WA packages for mplus dungeons so i don’t know about DBM
but most players use it
so it should tell them run behind bomb or something right?

Shouldn’t have been there in the first place imo.

The only reason is casting behaviour of mobs. For uncoordinated groups you can’t avoid the damage anymore, because mobs immediately recast after interrupt.

you can edited by moderator basically every dungeon without guides, and most people do and get by just fine because every fight more or less is the exact same:

  1. tank holds aggro and faces boss away
  2. melee run out of melee swirls
  3. range run out of range swirls
  4. healer dispels stuff

boralus first boss throws in a mechanic that basically doesn’t appear anywhere else in most expansion’s dungeons: kite the boss as a DPS into bombs. small changes like these are enough to brick the brains of half the playerbase overnight.

It is fairly difficult needing to kite the boss in bombs that aren’t there yet.
(By the way it targets ranged players, so that can be dps and healer)

You mean Bugvault? or Depletevault? xD

Also, wana hear a super duper irony?

Even back in BfA, when you did mount up on your BFA PROTODRAKE GLADIATOR MOUNT; you could not pass through the door that leads to the zone of the first boss, so going in the gladiator mount designed for that same expansion, is not viable, lol, ask me about design xD.

with basic you mean low IQ? if you can’t read or find the dungeon journal m+ isnt for you.

Yes. Players notice mistakes by wiping in M+ keys where mechanics start mattering. Now they can fix them.

With every mistake fixed and every optimization introduced the chance to time the key increases

i admit still after 10 db while levelling i have difficulty to understand where to go…

Exactly. It would have been less effort to have explained to them in chat than to fail over and over and then whinge about it on the forum.

It rolls from the sharp edge towards the soft one.

So if it doesn’t oneshot you you won’t learn anything, and if it does then the community cries “OMG blizzard removed the learning levels”.

Brilliant logic.

I’ve literally said in other threads the current m+ system was a mistake they’ve effectively removed the learning keys

No, people should learn to accept failure like they did in remix when we were all learning. Same way they accept people dying in delves or when grouping for zekvir. Just let people learn LOL

The current system is great because the base difficulty is punishing at all. It’s just people’s mindset that makes me question my sanity very often

The mindset that has worked for nearly ten years. 2-7ish learning keys, 8-14 more punishing but still doable. 15+ best rewards for the best players. This model has worked for so long why change it
