My experience was really bad. People were E-rping in goldshire inn and when i asked about it, they started to harass me verbally. Did log in several times during a week and almost everytime something toxic or eRP was going on.
I never did any ERP, but yes, apparently Goldshire is where almost all of that is happening. Stay out of Goldshire if you are not in to that kind of thing. Just go in, grab your quests and get out. Fortunately the vast majority of ERP happens in that one inn. I actually can’t remember a single time I’ve come across ERP outside of Goldshire. Horde or alliance.
I also don’t get why people would ERP in WoW. There are dozens of games that are WAY better suited to that kind of roleplay. WoW has no animation and no things set up to help with that kind of stuff.
Sorry for asking but what is ERP? I know that Goldshire is also main zone for RP in retail and since I will go to Horde side, I am glad that I won’t disturb people who like to do those things (in case we don’t make an event to invade Golshire lol).
Erotic Role Play. Yeah, it’s… a thing. Luckily, I’ve never seen this sort of thing Horde side. Maybe they’re more discreet, dunno.
I got the feeling they were getting the kink out from it by making other players feel uneasy. I was not the only one.
Also, the age limit in this game allows kids to play, so that makes it even more disturbing… since there are all kinds of addons and ways to make it privatechat, but they had to do it public.

Its going on for the most of WoW life, and in the same damn tavern too… Just avoid it or roll horde and kill all those nasty people when u have chance

I saw a video on YouTube from Nixxiom and he stated that he was going onto an EU based PvP-RP server that was suggested by Blizzard. I’m hoping my guild chooses this server. 
Why would u do that to yourself and follow an influencer? You know what happen with realms when influencer is leaving right? Thank god Nixxiom is not as big as some of them out there and i believe he is alliance player so it would be fun to kill him out there in the forest new “battleground” zone.
Im choosing RP-PVP because i want to have some organised events while we wait to jump onto lvl 40 endgame xD.

I’m not one for liking YouTubers tbh but I make an exception to him, as he seems more of a fun based guy, not a min/maxer. His Lord of the Rings Hardcore mode was fun!
While i Agree he LOOKS more like down to earth guy (especially after he asked asmon to stop reacting to his videos), its still a problem if he bring a big pool of players with him and get boored after a while. But i dont rly care unless he go horde xD

Aye, I get that and I hate the “reaction videos” just lazy imho and robs the smaller YouTubers that have integrity, though I’m sure they’ll say that they’re supplying exposure to them.
I’ve created an ally character on his RPPVP server and a Horde on Chaos Bolt RPPVP. It’s nice that they’re trying to balance the servers but I think they’ve stopped people rolling ally on Crusader Strike now. I wish hey just did a red and a blue server and electronically linked them.
