And this is the most reasonable explanation so far, indeed… true But still a sad thing though! This supposed to be a game, a very nice and fun one, not a sort of job/army stuff where you need to apply with a CV… but very true, some people don’t play it as a relaxing game, they play it a level not suitable for every player out there.
Not needing to fill a weekly vault with honor points earned in rated PvP killed RBG, and I say, good riddance!
I play this season every Monday and Wensday 20:00h -22:00h RbG with my guild

Seems like you are projecting a bit.
Ill take a matchmaking system over an LFG system thats stuck in 1997 all day every day
good. it was was about time
Where is everyone!
no, the guy is right, this is one of the main reasons rated bg is dying. As a player who was getting 2200-2300 rating in rbgs in different seasons i got tired of these things:
1.Boosters dropping mmr and if your team unlucky to get a pops against them (cuz everyone else is dodging them) you get minus 20 for a defeat because boosters are playing like 2600 mmr players but dropped it intentionally to 1900 by auto losing to random teams. And even if your team manages to win boosters you get only +5 lol (again cuz of mmr difference);
2.Too long forming groups. Sometimes at 2200+ cr i had to wait and help our RL to form a group for like 2-3 hours…2-3 hours wasted instead of playing lol
3.Class imbalance. It’s hard to play rated bg when your class is not op. Currently dh havoc is not even A class so getting into a good team became harder. Same for other nerfed classes - you will struggle getting into good groups if you are not overbuffed class
The RBG was dead way before the introduction of the BGB.
