Humans in game are based on humans irl.
Horde races =ugly.
Except belf which is based on a more fashionable and slender human than the muscular human (male) model.
Belves =50%+ of horde.
So horde = red slim humans.

I dunno, would a Vulpera pelt coat match your transmog? If it’s a white furred Vulpera maybe, but one of the more orange fur colours would clash horribly! And if horde are the ugly faction then you alliance lads need to keep looking fabulous!

Preach it! Humans in WoW do not look like real life humans in our world, well no, OK, the Human female model does, but the Male one looks like a 'roid beast with no working wrists. They’d be rubbish in a sword fight. I could take one apart in seconds.
They’re -based- on Humans, but They sure as heck ain’t human.
Always amused me when original WC3 Garithos came out with things like “Inhuman!” and it’s like, “Dude, have you seen your chin? What the heck is going on there? Other humans look normal, have you got Elephantiasis or something?”
If you think that is the sole entry requirement to join the Horde, then I’ve got this neat Bridge I’d like to sell you…

Weak logic, there are a lot of differences, like just to start with, Better control over the Arcane, an innate ability to sense the Arcane, a vastly increased longevity, Long pointy ears, Better perception senses than humans have, a dependency upon Mana, the ability to drain mana, eyebrows like a cat’s Vibrissae, eyes that are susceptible to magic.
