Solution to population decline in Classic progression realms

Our realms’s Alliance is dying and it is dying fast. French and German realms feel better after consolidation due to influx of Alliance players from PvE realms.

what is SWG
what is SC:WoL?

Wishful thinking tbh. Damage is done, people came back.. Most people realised it’s been 15 years and MOP just ain’t it. Not to say MOP is a bad expansion and back in the day was certainly fun, but times change and if we aren’t at the end of “Classic Progression” I would be heavily surprised.
Personally, I got no interest in Classic any more until these Dev’s stop lazing around the office with KFC buckets and give us an update.

Star Wars: Galaxies

StartCraft: Wings of Liberty

Leave mop to era and after anniversary is done tbc or wotlk leave that too to era wotlk or whatever. Then pull plug from whole classic releases those are better as remix anyway and focus just retail. Think 3 Times vanilla, tbc and wotlk is enough classic

Big agree, push the retailers back to Mythic + farming and release Plus for the vanilla enjoyers. Deal done. Delete all these classic servers.

No one is going to delete Classic Progression realms. In worst case Blizzard would just flag them as Retail ones, allowing to keep our nicknames. In nightmare scenario we would see Shadowlands Classic, but seeing it currently being actively cancelled and retconned out of WoW history and lore I do not belive Classic progression would go beyond Legion Classic.

… and chase away a load of Classic Andys. Not a smart thing to do.

Better than release vanilla, tbc, wotlk and so on multible times like they do with anniversary now. Mean how many classic versions we have? Vanilla era then anniversary vanilla what goes tbc and so on then HC realm. What next also tbc era + HC version when and If they go anniversary wotlk and after that wotlk era + HC version for it. Oh and not forget that classic+ what people have been asking and it also need HC version right? Im i only who thinks that start be quite lot classic realms no matter how diehard classic fan you are

Just release Era servers for Classic, TBC and Wrath. Give possibility to clone from one to another for money - once per character (to avoid players abusing this in Hardcore)
All in all 9 realms (PvP, PvE and HC makes 3 - times 3 versions).

When/if Classic+ ever arrives 3 more, making it a total of 12.
But for most players some versions would not be relevant, I for one would never even look at the PvP servers, os I’d have 6 (or 8) servers to choose from. Not a lot, I think.

What an awesome idea. Spam more diff versions of game and spread comunity even thinner thats exactly what we need.+ they broke things often even with small updates on allready established vanila client , cant wait to see tons of things broken on all those shards with every retail engine update.

Yes it IS exactly what we need. We need to KNOW what we have and what we’ll get
More versions makes more players play for longer time. Playtime is dynamic, not static.
Take me, I play now only Era HC, but when I’m tired, I’d like to play TBC, level my Draenei Pally … but there is no TBC, so I just stop playing altogether.

And yeah, the opportunities for breaking something are scary.

Keep dreaming :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry but not happen no matter how you keep dreaming about it. Only thing what could be fresh thing for classic is that classic + thing whatever that is. But loads of differend era servers with everysingle possible versions normal, PvP and so on sure is not good for classic

That’s just like your opinion, man. In my opinion it’s the best thing sice sliced bread for Classic. Let’s just agree to disagree.
