also, my post is about legion remix not legion classic.
since it’s on the same client/account as retail it matters in terms of blizzard phylosophy of so called “prestige” since in mop remix (not classic) aotc mount wasn’t available but in legion remix the aotc will, so it’s not fair / cool.
they are just inconsistent with their decisions like @noztra said.
as a collector of mounts and achievements i am missing just a couple since i’m not good at 3v3 so glad is out of the question and i’m still missing only the x45 - heartbreaker and other unnobtainables so for me at least it matters
In the same way Retail only players don’t care about Classic. It would just be a bad move.
Like I said in my previous reply, having to do a starter zone for 20-40 mins to get a reward in Retail isn’t a big deal. Having to do an entire old expansion in Classic while it is current to level, gear up and do the relevant content is a ridiculous amount of work. It’s unacceptable.
I know, I agree on that. But we have to go full stern mode and refuse even that 20-40min situation as acceptable, because it creates a slippery slope. Now it’s 40mins, next one may be 50mins, the one after that may be 1 hour, the one after that one may be 1,5 hours etc. Basically the slow-boiling-frog argument.
To me it just seem they want to artificially boost the stats for Classic and make it appear more popular than it is.

there are currently pvp exclusive rewards in retail, available for you to go and collect right now
however you don’t care about pvp so you let these rewards go.
the same way if classic rewards made unlockable in retail, but you don’t care about classic, you’ll let these ones go aswell.

I shouldn’t be criticizing you right now because you are not a forum regular. If you were, you’d know that I’m the physical embodiment of “Everyone must eventually and in a reasonable timeframe get absolutely everything”.
We shouldn’t have to do stuff outside the game to get stuff in-game. Everything in-game should be obtainable with activities in-game. There is nothing wrong in my eyes with letting people get what you want from playing Classic. But I not only want an avenue to acquire the same reward while playing only Retail, I also want that avenue to be optimal.
No, I do care, and quite massively too. But I am not skilled enough to get them. And I seethingly hate this notion that these rewards are permanently removed.
If people can earn my spellwing that isn’t available anymore than i may earn all other unavailable things end of story. it’s been 10 years!
also if the spell wing wasn’t here and still we weren’t allowed to get anything i would still say make it all available! i have had my little fun i am special with it for 10 years. stop making cosmetics that you intend for no one to have release them after a while it’s such a waste!
agreed. I think it’s stupid they’re bringing back the spellwing and flawless mythic armor but won’t bring back the mage tower skins? I have all 36 of em and I still would rather they bring back ALL fomo items rather than lock em away so people that haven’t accomplished anything in their lives over the last 10 years can feel better

linking classic to retail would be the BIGGEST FU to the players who stopped classic (me included) as the reason i stopped was actually because they took a hard stance and said that the 2 modes will never be linked.
If people knew at the time that they would eventually be linked then i would’ve gone above and beyond and grinded my heart out at getting weapons like corrupted ashbringer, t3 gear etc etc.
