Someone create a Horde WPvP community

I created an Alliance WPvP community… but for balance there should also be a Horde WPvP community - need official enemies, there must be conflict! I know you guys love WPvP, but seems like there are Alliance WPvP guilds and communities, yet no Horde ones (that advertise).

Someone please either create a new Horde WPvP community or let us know the details of your existing one. I’ll help promote it on my WPvP guild and community list, and elsewhere.

It’s not too hard to create a WPvP community and get some members via the forums. I sent a good few clicks to The Hundred Companions recruitment page, but wasted since their invite link is expired. Make sure your invite link is set to NEVER EXPIRE. LfG is a great place to recruit as well. Much easier than guild recruitment. You can do it!

  1. Create new community.
  2. Create invite link set to NEVER EXPIRE.
  3. Post an ad in the Community Recruitment and War Mode forums.
  4. Invite friends ofc, but LfG has a consistent daily pool of WPvPers to recruit from. Up to you, but I suggest forming your own LfG groups, and name your group to minimize questers and maximize actual WPvPers. You can recruit from other places, like your WoW YouTube channel, reddit, etc.
  5. Be active on War Mode forum, self promote.
  6. If you are thinking of forming a WPvP guild, officers and core members could come from your community!

Looks like Horde can only complain about Flight Points, AOO, welfare gear… and nothing else. Pitty.

Common, do it! Few names to get you started:

Zug-zug Support Group
Crashed Zeppelin
Dum-dum Boy Run
Mak’gora Orchestra
Gray Honor Matter

Your topics on forums will get constant bumps and references like this:
P.S.: Want to join WPvP guild / community, or tell others about yours - go here and DO IT

Now, still thinking your Alliance WPvP community is a great idea. Keep it up!

But a Horde WPvP Community? If one isn’t created, I am not surprised. The question “Why should we fight if fighting for the fun of it is no longer enough for both sides?” still stands.

If I was Horde, I’d want to kill every Alliance I came across, rip their… well, and so on

But srsly, Alliance need to die, don’t you think? Funner and more efficient in a group with players you know. May as well start a community, even if small.

You created this “alliance wpvp comunity” because alone you cant handle wpvp.
Even today, when i remember our only face2face meeting we had, in Zuldazar, near escort world quest, both of us alone, nobody to disturb our fight and still you choosed to run…hahaha funny memories. A feral druid scared of a elemental shaman…lulz…ridiculous.
What about the hunt? I still expect you to hunt and spank me as you promissed…ofc alone, not with your “comunity” …if you can…

I often play solo for fair 1v1, that’s prob my fav. I make no claim to be skilled, but I am motivated to improve. Group play is different, I don’t play fair at all… yet. See my suggestion further down.

If I’m leading a group, that group gets directed where I want it, and it’s pure fun kills right now. However, I have a habit of running off and thinking my group will follow. Then I realize they didn’t follow, but they show up eventually if I tell em a few times hehe. You were prob beating me and it’s fun for group to intervene. Like I said, I don’t play fair in groups… usually…

If you want fair wpvp fights, here’s a suggestion…

Having fair wpvp with specific players is not easy to make happen. But, fair 1v1, 2v2, 5v5, etc might be possible in wpvp via two communities - if a bunch of players in each community NOT GROUPED goes to a specified spot… and IF any two opposing players see each other, they form a group, then ALL should see each other on same shard. Now, can do 1v1s, 2v2s, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 10v10, 20v20, etc. Can pad with lfg to even the numbers. Sound fun? Depends on if grouping idea works, not sure how many community members I could get to try it. Maybe try it as an event, or each community could have a suitable shared place each knows to hang out at for this. But it’s theoretically possible at least, even if didn’t always work.

You could easily create a WPvP community. I’d be happy to help promo it on here for ya. WM needs grudges, rivals and enemies, conflict!

It just would need time to build up enough in two communities willing to try this, and patience. Could be done! Two WPvP guilds would be even better.

Your group was 500+ yards away from us. You saw me, you looked at me a few seconds…then you ran away towards your group. Your group was staying on the same position, killing other players.
You ran away because you had assasin buff (+quest) so you where afraid that you will loose it. You lured me to your group, knowing that i will follow and try to hunt you and when we reached your group, they killed me.
So, basically you was afraid of a 1v1 fight and you knew that you pissed me off on forums and that i will hunt you (follow you) because i was angry on you.
This bla bla that “when i lead groups, i stay with them…bla bla” is a bullsh#t. Alone you cant do nothing and you are a pussy. You are cocky only when you are surounded by a group and when you are alone you run away with your tail between your legs…and after you come on forums to say : "i love wpvp because its unpredictable and i like 1v1 " . Then i ask this: why you ran away?
Feral druids own elemental shamans. So why?

P.S. : i am thinking to change realm just to find you and smack you. Just for fun.

Hard to make me feel bad for my tactics, because I will do anything and not care. I am an overconfident cocky jerk with no honor! If running can result in a kill or save my skin, I’ll do it. I actually wrote a post on pulling enemies into allies, a fun strat. Our encounter might have been my inspiration! Yep, it would prob be quite satisfying to kill my pixels

Changing to my realm will not help you find me, we are in random WM shards. If you want fair wpvp, see my suggestion for two communities to arrange wpvp. Simple rules would be agreed beforehand, equal numbers for example, and I’d stick to em because I want to do this as occasional events. It is easy to start a community, and no effort compared to a guild. The one thing to remember is, set invite link to NEVER EXPIRE.

If starting a community does not appeal to you, see you out there maybe, but it will be down to chance on random WM shards - I would love to solo 1v1 you. I do actually enjoy fair 1v1 when not in a group, and am trying to improve skills. By ‘fair’ I mean equal numbers and no interference, anything goes apart from that. I’ll say in advance, if I run, that counts as a win for you!

Edits: Wrote a lot of waffle, realized it was wall of text, deleted most!

There is no WPvP cookies for the horde. Peoples are not interested for wPvP on this side. :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed:

I know there are Horde WPvPers out there having fun killing Alliance. I’ve seen em on forum and in game. They are doing it solo, with friends, LfG. This post is aimed at those players, not ones that have given up. Horde need just one proactive player to start a community.

Creating a WPvP community is easy, much easier than a guild. It will get members from forum, friends, and invite more from LfG groups with titles aimed at WPvPers and not questers. Your community will also get promo from me and others.

I don’t think than this will grab a lot of players. No cookies = no WM on, simple. I know players who usually did WPvP, but nowdays are not interested. Last night i was in Ogri and what i’ve seen? All was dead, there was 1 or 2 alliance raids who AOE’d all the entire city and peoples in chat say nothing, peoples are dont care.

It doesn’t need a lot of players. The target are players that enjoy WM WPvP, I guarantee you they are out there. There was interest in a Horde WPvP community I was promoting, but their invite link had expired, what a waste! A dedicated owner will not let that happen, and will promote their community.

Of the players that like WPvP, a % are stuck in the old days before WM. They are going to be negative about modern WPvP. What we need to rebuild WPVP community, is players that actually enjoy modern WPvP being proactive. Most are follower types, that’s fine… need one proactive Horde that has patience and persistence to start it off!

They can advertise it in community and LfP forums, and here in WM forum. Their recruitment posts will get promo from me and others. That will start things off. Then, invite from LfG groups with titles aimed at WPvPers. It will require patience, and for best effect, being active on WM forum to promo and stoke anti-Horde/Alliance feeling.

Horde WPvP is dead and buried most of the time. You would need to find a Necromancer

It takes one motivated proactive player to form a Horde community. Others will join. There’s Horde out there that enjoy War Mode WPvP, that’s for sure - this is aimed at those Horde.

Some will join via forum recruitment posts, and LfG is a great recruitment tool + group padder.

There is no shortage of activities for a WPvP guild or community - with different levels of difficulty because of sharding and/or numbers required. LfG padding might be desired (or not) for a smaller community.

Wish it was different, but this was my reason for opting out too

I dont feel salty to the Alliance for having it, I just see no reason for me to care about the bonuses

Gold enough, dont care about the AP grind, hardly even do WQs anymore or assaults, other ways to get honour and conquest as well, even my alts gain nothing more usefull from WQs and assaults with the exception being a Gear emissary but because WM drives on WQs to bring (most of the) people together and without those shiny bonuses Alliance has its very hard to care about WQs, eh… BGs are more rewarding because the rewards are… well, there, so I’ll stick with BGs for pvp
