[Spoilers]Blizzcon discussion

Keeping the old starter zones as options. Nice!

Not at that point yet but does not surprise me, axing the current 1-10 areas would be madness

“Who is my Warchief?”

I’ve been complaining about this since WoD lol

It shattered the last bit of hope for a rebuilt Quel’thalas

Faster leveling

They actually said it, the madman

All I found is a spanish youtube stream.

60-70% faster 1-50 than 1-110

Good lord

Sounds like from lvl 1 you’re forced to be in the new starting zone and forced to go through a dungeon. I imagine it’ll be nice the first few times, but eh…

Edit: sounds like it’s only forced on new players

Sorry but leveling in BfA is pointless.

We could have done without it .

From what I understand, it’s for people who never actually leveled a character

I asked the infamous hacker Four Chan, he pointed me to some guy named vee gee which had a stream linked in some kind of “WoW general”

Whatever that is

I would NEVER advocate visiting the four chans to look at paid streams for free, that’s just barbaric

Paying to be advertised is truly…

No.

Yeah he very specifically said it’s just for new players and to help lead into Shadowlands.

I’m gonna miss spec identity.

While class identity practically died in BfA, Legion did a good job at Spec identity.

I guess class identity is a nice step forward back to where we were.

imo spec identity can die in a ditch

Specializations, not miniclasses!

It’s a real shame. Leveling alts of different specs is one of the main attractions of the game for me. That they’ll all be similar to each other now sucks really hard.

“Did you ever feel like you’ve lost something?”

Yes, expectations for a good WoW story

I’ll admit that does sound like a downside but if it ultimately leads to healthier class design, I’m happy for it.

If every single level gets us something new I’ll find alt leveling more enjoyable regardless. The 20+ levels of nothing are what really get me these days.

While I think Blizz should just remove some specs… Such as Disc Priest, BM Hunter and Sub rogue to put their abilities/skills to the other two.

I still want specs to feel essentially different. What they’re saying here feels like they’re saying that… No matter the spec you choose, fire mage, frost and all… You won’t feel a great difference.

Which sucks.
