It was blatantly obvious she was going to become the new faction leader of Forsaken.
God I hoped for one god damn positive thing about this new patch by Blizzard just doesn’t want that I guess.

I honestly don’t buy it, for three reasons:

The dialogue of the screenshot, assuming it isn’t just fake, to me sets up Calia helping Voss become the new leader. Voss is a Horde character and has been pushed as almost an avatar of “new Forsaken” since Cataclysm. She’s raised post-Sylvanas, and she is shown in the War Campaign to have her humanity but still be truly a Forsaken rather than - like Calia - clinging to the past.

Calia would almost certainly be an extremely Alliance and Light-centric character. For her to lead the Forsaken, Blizzard really would need to fully rework how the Forsaken work and possibly break up the factions entirely.

I WANT CALIA TO LEAD THE FORSAKEN! This is the biggest reason I don’t think it will happen: For every major plot development of BFA, I’ve said I wanted things one way, and predicted that Blizzard would instead do things a different - crappy - way. Every time I’ve been proven right, time and again. So I wouldn’t worry - as long as I want Calia on the throne, you won’t get her!

Apparently the item also comes with a 2% damage+healing buff, so instead of TF ilevel you get these items with small % boosts but also have these equip downsides as a tradeoff. It’s…well I like it more than titanforging at least. It’s certainly more interesting.

Can’t wait for Forsaken to fully give up their Scourge looking design… Get rid of abominations, the Blight and basically become Milk toast Scarlet Crusade.

I don’t know what I’m going to do if we get franken-calia as the forsaken leader.
Like I said, she’s probably going to help Voss become the new leader.

Re. the low res textures, everything on PTR is suffering from that atm.
Looks like Operation: Mechagon is gonna be split into two Heroic mode wings for people to complete the questline to be able to make Mechagnomes.
Vulpera Mount, Totem and racials look good. Thoroughly looking forward to it.
