Stack overflow ERROR

me and my wife both have the same issue cannot use housing system

Same here.. thanks devs awesome work

Yeah same here! It’s not cool was looking forward to this update

yep STACK_OVERFLOW error when opening House Finder

Same here, Stack overflow.

I’m having the same problem. I purchased a plot on my Alliance character this morning. The house finder was extremely slow, but I could swap neighbourhood. I’m now trying to purchase a plot on my Horde character and the game crashes every time I press the button.

Yup, same here. Well this is fun.

Has anyone got a link to where the Devs are indicating whether they are aware of this stuff? Is it still Twitter (/X)?

Same….try to find other housing plots…fatal error- game crashes

cant say Im surprised though….

Same here. But man this is embarrassing, blizzard. A friggin’ Stack Overflow. Should NOT have been shipped like this.

same issue . FIX PLS !!

An official response has been posted here, we’ll likely see a fix soon.

Thanks Sahaan!

For others in the meantime if you haven’t yet bought a house (i.e. you’re not trying to move a house to a particular neighbourhood), try leaving the housing neighbourhood properly (ask your guide to ā€˜send you back to where you came from’).

Then try accessing the tutorial through the housing panel: that’ll port you to the neighborhood, and HOPEFULLY a different shard to the one you were just in (it did it for me - sent me to an entirely empty plot where I was able to buy my house where I wanted).

However, I’m not 100% if that’s because the plot I was stuck in had all the properties sold or if it was physically leaving the zone that re-cast where it sent me on re-entry.

Will take a hot minute with what im suspecting needs to be NA Westcost that will handel it

Just had a small 120mb patch that fixed the issue for me. No more crashes when opening the house finder.

Can anyone else confirm?

Same here but now a lot of the neighbourhoods don’t ever load. But yes, no more crashes!

Yeah, it takes a long time for them to load on my end too.

I got into the House Finder without the error now BUT! I am stuck on a infinite loading wheel with no maps coming up

Still getting the crash here. I don’t even care about housing, I just want the damn quest out of my quest log because Blizzard won’t let me abandon it or not accept it. But the only neighbourhood I got ported to was full, changing neighbourhoods gave the error (and then forced me to update the game again - thanks for that). I just want this quest gone so I can ignore the feature and go back to other stuff.

Blizzard fix your game for real…. still getting:

STACK_OVERFLOW

Stop using Microslop AI code and get real programmers instead of Vibecoder. Midnight is an utter disgrace

I never talk to the NPC to move house.

Go to the house button bottom right hand side. Change it through that. Moved 4 times yesterday with no issues.

Edit: Just realised this is a necro thread.
