Still mad at blizzard but I've calmed down now

No  They were thinking of doing it  but never did.
Just thinking of it created a shirt :tshirt: storm.

Proffessions scale all the way to raid gear so no, wont die lol.

The majority dont want WQs lmfao, what a weird statement to make, the vast majority ignore WQs lol

I am amazed anyone ever liked the WQs :eyes:

Funny enough, I am one of the minority who enjoyed the smack out of both Visions and Torghast.

Visions because it was the easiest way for a solo oriented player to get high gear with corruptions while doing some chill content once per week ( I did only the top 3 difficulties for 465 470 and 475 gear if I member right). I also was pretty challenging and had a sense of progression, you gained talents and cloak upgrades, they were getting easier.

Torghast was awesome, but too timegated at first, and too mandatory. If you could craft a max legendary from let’s say 2 or 3 runs, and a basic one from one run, and maybe also reward a piece of gear weekly if you score 5 starts, people would have been more willing to do it.

Islands were super cool for all the cosmetic rewards. I kept doing HUNDREDS of island expeditions through SHADOWLANDS, just for the fun of slaying huge waves of mobs, and getting the mounts, pets, achievs and transmog pieces. Made some good gold too.

That until that sweet 376 ilvl item

All I know is my sub runs out in four days and if they don’t have something in this game for me to do by then it’s not renewing.

Oh no. That’s terrible. Don’t go, nooo

They must be really in to archeology

mmm but moritz wasnt cheering in the wq thread? somethin chenged?

A lot of people enjoyed them but the problem was that they were mandatory and started burning out people really fast. I personally really liked the alpha version of Torghast and then the one we got on release (less than the alpha version though) but I quickly started to hate it because I had to do it each week.

ahhh ok. now i understand

Not sure why you felt the need to tell us… But you go ahead drama queen…

I also plan on letting mine run out. DF is WoD with M+. It doesn’t have anything to do compared to other MMO’s.

How do I even unlock WQs?
I am done with the campaign and got all renown to 5 atm but see no WQs?
Or did they change how they look or something?

The lack of content was something people were worried about from 6 months ago or so.
The problem with Blizzard is eternal, they design a good activity in theory, like Islands, Torghast, Warfronts, Visions. Manage to ruin the inplementation by adding unnecesary timegating or grindy stuff to it that noone asked about.
They get backlash from community. Instead of listening to feedback and improving said experience, they ditch it COMPLETELY.
Then they start again, and fail in the same way.
Now in Dragonflight they didn’t add one at all. And people complain ( truthfully ) that there is zero content to do except the big three ( Raid, M+, PvP).

I think they should start this experiment same as they did with M+ dungeons and Fated raids:

  • Every week bring back one of the old “alternative progression scenarios”: Visions, Thorgast, Islands Etc.
  • Upgrade the numbers to level 70. Maybe tweak some thing. Make them a challenge.
  • The first time you complete them, you get Heroic Quality Raid Loot. The second time, Normal Quality Raid Loot.
= Should be tuned to take at most 25-30 minutes per run. So 1 hour / week. This shouldn’t feel very bad, given the rewards.
  • After the first 2 runs, you might get some other type of rewards, Cosmetics, Mogs, Pet, etc.

Curious if anyone else would be interested in that.

Putting raid loot on them would make it mandatory for raiders.

Make that loot with specific bonuses for World Content and the best for that type of content. Higher ilvl while your character is in the open world, regular ilvl if you’re in instances.

If anything, will affect only top end players; not even the 1% but the 0.1% if that.

Well, raiding is also mandatory for raiders… any content that rewards gear takes some time to complete.
I specifically said 1 hour per week for both rewards. Is that too much for raiders? Or do they just want to raid log? You must be willing to put in the effort if you want that extra chance at some loot.
But if you are a raider, I asume you only do the real difficulties, aka Heroic and Mythic. So most wouldnt bother for a heroic piece that may or may not be what they are looking for. But casuals could definitely use anything that has a higher iLvL.
