I have done Sylv only on normal yet, but i am usually fine with last bosses multi-phased and a longer fight. To me it is more annoying to die on fatescribe enrage doing 10 minutes the same thing.
How do you know its more interesting there? Oh, you don’t.

Sylvanas is too long. Max for an end boss should be like 11 minutes. Blackhand / Sire length.
I know we’ve had longer in the past (Sha). But this fight is just too dull to sustain that.
Adding to this, the mythic changes outside of P1 are so half baked. The thing that gets me is P3. It’s a platform fight with each platform representing a respective covenant yet each platform has the exact same mechanics just with slightly different order / timings.
Imagine if the jailer used the sigils to affect each platform, giving us a covenant specific mechanic to deal with alongside sylvanas, or if we used anduin / the middle platform… Or anything really. It’s just kinda a letdown for an end boss. Even on mythic.

It’s not necessarily the length as much as how sparse the length feels, and the lack of real differences from heroic to mythic.
The biggest change is the splitting up in p2, and frankly from doing it it’s just not a particularly fun part of an already pretty meh fight.
garosh was 15 minute fight ? seemed so much faster paced that that when i did that - it was only tier i got CE.
