Ah yes I have been off work all week and I needed this post to remind me it’s the weekend.
I just wrote a big answer in your other post
We are all still at level 60, and will be until Dragonflight launches in December(?).
Meanwhile, my suggestions about what do do to get going at 60 are here:
Fine like this.
By the way, where can I get some health potions?
You remind me of everyone I know irl when I ask them how to breath xD
Health potions for level 60 also at the Auction House. You can stack up to 20 in one slot.
Cosmic Healing Potion heals 20,000 health
Spiritual Healing Potion heals 10,000 health
I like how you’re taking him with a face value.
I use my Armoury-vision powers for good.
I want to join raids and they require 220 item level. I can get the best items at raids, I imagine.
Here is the post I made earlier:
Hi, Unixar. Welcome to Azeroth- more or less
There are a LOT of things to get stuck on at 60. The hitting-60 experience could well have been designed by Kafka. I have like 17 characters at level 60, and with every! damn! one! of them I’ve managed to snag myself on something.
So the first thingf I see when I look at your armoury https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/eu/turalyon/unixar/ is that you haven’t found a Covenant yet.
And then I go to your Quests in Shadowlands, and I don’t see that you have done any quests at all in Shadowlands, except the Maw introduction. Your armour is all from dungeons - Timewarped, with one Heroic piece from BfA.
Did you use a boost to 50, do some BfA dungeons, and then Timewalk-dungeon your way to 60?
If this is so, I’m afraid I have to tell you that you are now required to do the campaign quests in order to join a Covenant, and you are required to join a Covenant in order to get your soulbinds and conduits, unlock World Quests and Torghast and Korthia and Zereth Mortis for your Legendary, and so on.
I’m going to assume thatI’m right about how you got to 60. If I’m wrong, please let me know, so I can advise you better.
What I would do if I were you is visit the Auction House, and buy item level 229 Green Mail pieces of armour for your weak slots, where I would call anything below ilevel 200 weak. Your current ilevel is 139, and that will make the going tough for you in a world where level 60s are expected to be operating at something like double that power and health.
The Mail set is called “Anthemic”, and here are the prices: https://theunderminejournal.com/#eu/turalyon/search/anthemic
The weapon you ideally want is Burnished Arbalest https://theunderminejournal.com/#eu/turalyon/item/188040
You probably won’t be able to afford a full set immediately. There are some ways to farm a few thousand gold over several hours I can suggest, if you’re interested.
Now, whether you get that upgraded gear or not, the thing you have to do is work through the levelling campaign. There is no way around this. The questing campaign will send you around the four zones to meet the four Covanants, and when you have finished it, you can choose one to join, and that will open up all the features of the level 60 endgame.
The first Covenant is Bastion. Tal-Inara at the table in Oribos will have a quest for you to go to Bastion. Do you have that quest, or can you find it? If so, that’s your answer. Go, follow the trail of quests all round the four zones.
This is the final quest in Oribos before you head to Bastion:
If you look on the right of the page, at “Storyline”, you will see the quests leading up to it. Find yourself in that storyline, and carry on from there.
Let me know if you understand this and if it worke for you.
How can I farm gold?
Buy "WoW Token"s and sell them via AH.
315k gold in my realm - Silvermoon.
Just farm some money in real world and buy gold in WoW. Its easy that way. Farming gold in WoW is slower than making money in RL.
You should get a sporebat, it’ll solve all your problems.
Jeez. That’s alot. Definitely buying one of they tonight!
Auctioneer at teh rdy. Noice.
They were up to like 374k here. It’s impossible to resist knowing they’ll go back to about 170k eventually.
mmm are around 370 since last month. ive bought one in may at 380 (still not used). probably the price will decline with df pre release
Zuuma has beer, and when you are drunk in WoW, opponents appear to be lower level. Duel them.
i like your style!
“I have been playing since Vanilla beta”
Now I think about it, your options are more limited than I originally reacted last night, because you haven’t even opened the Shadowlands zones, or the previous expansions, yet. You can’t even fish for Pirahna in Revendreth because you haven’t got to Revendreth yet.
I really don’t like recommending newcomers to buy a Token, but given that you still have to unlock things, Kaløyan’s suggestion is not crazy if you want gold fast. You can buy a Token for 20 Euros https://eu.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/world-of-warcraft-token and sell it on the auction house and get over 300,000 gold, which is far more than you need for everyting to get set up.
Of what’s left that you can do quickly and easily:
There are two raids in Warlords of Draenor expansion that are pretty quick to run through. Highmaul takes maybe 10 minutes and drops 500 gold. You can do it 4 times, one for each difficulty setting, so that’s 2000 gold in 40 minutes. Blackrock Foundry takes about 25 minutes and drops about 1000 gold. Again you can do it 4 times. So you can get about 6000 gold in 2.5-3 hours. To change difficulty setting, right-click yoiur portrait and choose Raid Difficulty. The difficulty is irrelevant for a level 60, but each one will get you a fresh run through, with fresh loot. When you come out of the raid, find a nearby vendor, and sell all the loot you picked up.
Highmaul is in the west of the zone of Nagrand in Draenor. From the Mage Tower in Stormwind, take the portal to Ashran, and fly all the way across the continent into Draenor. Blackrock Foundry is in the north of Gorgrond.
Even as I type this, I know all the little things that will confuse a newcomer trying to do it. Unfortunately, I have no gold on Turalyon, or I’d give you enough or a start.
