It´s interesting, a big part of WoW has always been being AFK.
AFK whilst running from northern to southern Barrens.
Being AFK whilst flying from A to B. Or whilst waiting for a boat.
The point that Dragonflying kinda ´´forces´´ you to keep your brain going constantly instead of just shutting completely off is a valid point.
WoW has traditionally been really good at giving players ´´breaks´´, it´s something that has really failed recently. Personally I love Dragonflying, but I do have empathy for the complaint.

look i dont judge how you enjoy WoW but for me you did bare minimum game has to offer
i would ask you for gold but with playstyle like this you are probably piss-poor

People make everything about genders nowadays, in a game that has humanoid foxes, humanoid cows, humanoid wolves, space goats and so on…
Why is the gender so important in a game that doesn’t care at all?

My friend group and guildies just joke about the whole body type lark. If Blizzard do something stupid, we laugh about it.
Same with the whole abundance of gay characters in the game. The gay frogs were the best part of Dragonflight for me for example: Alex Jones and his gay frogs was always one of my favourite memes.
Blizzard intend for somebody to be serious, but sometimes it’s just funny.

Yes, saying body type or male makes a huge dent on you. I’m sure it does. We should all bow down to you and do your biding like no one else matters. But, that is the world of your head. Not the one we live in.
Guess what? I am a male and a white and i have absolutely no issue with the game being more inclusive. My masculinity is not threatened by it.
Oh and dragonriding rocks.

If you really liked gathering, then you would be thrilled about Dragonriding and the new Gatheringsystem. Its the first time in WoW Gathering actually has any kind of mechanic behind it.
Gathering was the most bland thing in the whole game. I hated it. I didnt do it in 15 years. In this espansion I actually dropped professions for gathering, because I want to do it.
So, if youre lobbying for a change to that, I am not unhappy to see you leave.

Tbf the only valid arguement for flying is imo the high speed animation filter causing motion sickness for some but that can be solved with an option to turn off the anime high speed filter
Some people are also complaining about the fisheye fov effect giving them headache and nausea. But ofc they could just be making up reasons to justify getting the lazy flying back. Wouldn’t be the first time that happens on this forum, looking at posts like “I play WoW with one finger, pls nerf the game”.

Yeah you can, by picking body type 1. It’s not like the model has been changed to no longer look male. It’s asinine how many ppl are getting their knickers in a twist about a small change in wording that changes nothing other than being more inclusive to trans ppl
If you really believe that’s how the majority of trans ppl are you really have no business arguing against anything “woke”
