Are subs that low that two players are dominating rbgs with premades?
back in the day zennie and zalda or whatever there name where wouldnt be noticed with there premade wins…there would be multiple matches going on you might get them once a day but seems player base is that low thats there is only ever 2x 40v40 matches on at one time?
Great way to lose the rest of the casual pvpers.

I’m still subbed but I haven’t been in an epic BG for weeks. Or done any pvp at all, for that matter. I think that there might be more people like me in addition to them losing subs.
So yeah, I’m one casual pvp-er that they’ve lost (for now, at least).

I don’t know about subs but the amount of people in BGs has decreased to a point where you play with and against the same people a lot more often. I sometimes run into guildies even if we haven’t joined queue together and I face the same guilds quite often (BG Besties, Beekeepers etc.) as well.
Everyone has different reasons why they do BGs less (if they do BGs less that is), to me the current iteration of PvP is the worst I can remember. Everyone has a huge amount of procs, the amount of CC and pseudo CC is just stupid but at the same time it is needed because healer healing output is even more stupid. I don’t blame people not enjoying this.
Like you said, the three syncers would barely be noticeable if there was a larger pool of players, which it felt like there was even in Shadowlands.

Subs are super low. Yesterday i queued for epic bg with merc mod and had to wait 20+ minutes even tho i was a healer.

The game would be better for literally everyone, of there was no unrated pvp (imo)

It’s more likely that your queue time was long because everyone and their uncle is out farming mounts and transmog in the last week of the Collector’s Bounty buff.
If you’ve only been PvP-ing then you might not have noticed that there are swarms of people all over the place taking advantage of this event, including a lot of people who would normally be in epic BGs.
Sure, subs may well be low, but I’m betting that the confluence of Collector’s Bounty / Winds of Mysterious Fortune / Greedy Emissary was mostly responsible.

What, 20+ minute queues for healers in epic BGs has been a regular thing for months?? Really?
That wasn’t the case three months ago when I was last playing, so by ‘months’, you mean two months at the most, yeah?
Seemed to me he made the post because his 20+ minute wait for a healer queue was a new low for him which is why I replied as I did. And come to think of it, any streamers that I’ve been watching haven’t been waiting that long for healer queues to pop.
So yeah, unless a few commenters whose opinions I trust here tell me that 20+ minute healer queues have been the new norm in epic BGs for the last couple of months, I will remain skeptical of your claim.
Ebg healer queuetime isn’t any different than a dds.
You can have 0 healers and a map still opens, you can have 6 healers, i even had 11/12 healer maps in the last week at one point making me wonder where these healers have been the entire day when 0-2 healermaps opened.
They could fix things starting with that.
If the dude meant blitz on some unholy mmr there it could be very much true.
Ebg wise maybe the merc buff was bugging had that quite a few times.
Just cancel queue and requeue.

No.
Unless you play 3 in the night and theres only 1 full map open quite clearly you will then need to wait for them to finish and ofc requeue. In the maintime and afternoon + early night its fine.

Season is pretty much over. Most people are geared up and everyone is tired of the premades in random BG’s. The only ones left are people playing premades. Which in my humble opinion is still the most disgusting way to play randoms.

Subs are low because of healer meta. Healing output too high compared to dps output.

Why would anyone que in random bgs that have premades in actually larger group than is supposedly possible to get in same game. This is suppose to be unrated fun and not some organized mode where 10 or 40 man premades stomp unorganized ppl just trying to play random bg like its intended.
