Swift Zhevra November Trading Post

Waiting for December . Just do it !

Can you imagine the screaming if they did this? I’d love to be able to get it on the trading post for a silly amount of tenders built up over several months but… oh the screaming. I doubt it will be up for many years!

  1. There is no guarantee that any mount will appear in Trading Post ever.
  2. For now Bliz only used “promotion” mounts, which were not obtainable by pure game activities.
  3. All mounts are like 5 years old and older promotion mounts.

So yeah, if you willing to wait 5+ years with no guarantee then of course you can do it.

I personally find it really good, that I can get an old mount for the collection, which already lost any relevance and had no chance to obtain in any way because I simply didn’t play WoW at that times. And if somebody will have mount I paid for just with free tenders, no objections. I don’t gather mounts to feel special because other don’t have it, I gather them for myself only.

Why not? Because you will need to wait years for that instead of having it the moment it is released to the game. The Zhebra was literally released 15 years ago, in 2008. And was removed from the game in 2010, 13 years ago. You have owned an exclusive promotional mount just for inviting a friend or paying money. I am sorry, but I don’t believe you deserve exclusivity all the eternity just for that. The 13 years of exclusive that today you are losing is more than fair.

Even so, it could take years before a current reward is added again in the game and you lost the exclusivity, so you seriously tell me that you will renounce things available today while keeping a plan of waiting years (or even more than a decade like the zhebra) in the hope they add it to Tender Shop?

If this still doesn’t convince you, I will tell you that having those items prior to being available in the trading post has an additional advantage. You do not need to expend tenders to buy it.

This month, there are three removed mounts in the Tender Shop. With 1000 tenders per mount, the most you could buy is one of the three, and maybe buy another in December. Or renounce other rewards in previous months to have more tenders. Anything included in the Tender Shop that you already have means you are free to spend those tenders on other rewards.

Why? Because it hurts the ego of Johnny who cant derive superiority out of an item anymore?
Sorry to break it to you, but Blizzard can do whatever they wish with the items they have copyright to. I patiently wait for the day where spectral tiger will be an amazon prime drop , oh the tears

Or as Aprix said - just wait for Longboi to be available on it…

I got the zhevra my self and i dont mind people getting it through out the trading post.
I dont think everyone will get it. Its old mount from a stupid reward system.

I think you should still try to get rare mounts there is no 100% that it will end up in the trading post and if yes it is worth to wait maybe even year or two for such thing to happen?

The only mounts that perhaps should not end up in trading post are mount from achivements like getting high pvp ranking or aotc mounts. Before someone rants about the aotc mount… its not hard to get aotc mounts just be little social and dont have backwards IQ.

I like exactly that about the Trading Post.
Haha, stay mad gatekeeper boomer.

I hate FOMO, rewards that required you to swipe your credit card should go in the Trading post. Rewards that required you to actually achieve something in the game should be reintrodused as rewards for a different challenge of the same level.

I think it’s a good thing for the same reasons you’re explaining. If you want to have them as soon as they come out, then yes, you can pay. Otherwise, in 2-3 years you will have them in the trading post, it’s up to you to decide how much your time is worth.

As for other things like gladiator mounts I don’t think they should go on the trading post as they are related to a specific task and achievement you’ve got rather than just being there or having money. But I think more efforts should be done to make those challenges evergreen, meaning you don’t strictly have to be present at the right time (you can do it whenever you want), but you will always be presented with a challenge to obtain them.

They probably will in 10 years I assume lmao. They added already items from the store

thats a gold sink mount totaly diferent ;s…

Sadly, you hit the nail on the head. We who feel things that was a unique reward should remain just that, an unique reward. A medal, if you will, for participating and investing into the system and game. The ones who found it fun and exciting to not only own, but to see others have these items/relics… Well, we are not the main audience.

Now, with the newer generations coming up - they are a lot more, “I deserve it! You don’t like that I get it for free now, hah! LoL get rekt, I only care about my ego, this is great!”

Not sure if it is the ‘everyone is a winner’ mentality, or if it is just egoism that is behind this point of view, still - it is what it is. They want everything to be theirs. So Blizzard sees this a way to get some brownie points, even if it that means spitting on the investment we old’ timers put into the game.

So, just join in the growing mantra of; Don’t give a damn, nothing matters, they will take any value away from you. Don’t invest into the game, don’t put in any effort.

Be it today, or in ten years, even the PvP mounts will be twitch drops and store options. Give it a few months or decades, everything will be given away that you thought would remain a fun little unique memento of a time long past.

It is what the kids want - so that is what blizzard gives to them. As you said: The point of collecting rare things are pointless in WoW. The value of something being a rare unique time-limited item doesn’t matter to them, nor do they understand how it could. Everything should just be common. That is fine by them. After all, as some say, “it is only pixels, lol! Give me it for free, so I can smile at someone elses frown!”

Blizzard has chosen the path of apathy. Again, say it with me: Nothing matters, it never has and never will. Dont invest any time or effort into it.

Talking about new generations/kids… you mean the ones that don’t play WoW?
Stop blaming the kids for everything, it makes you look foolish. :dracthyr_crylaugh:

The majority of players are 30+. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

if the only reason you want to have them for is exclusivity… well the Zhevra was added in 2008 so it was still exclusive for 15 whole years
other then that because its a RAF reward all you have to do to get it is to have real life money spent, either by a friend of yours or you spending it on an alt account for the reward.

As such yeah who cares, if it was like a mount with a skill indicator like the gladiator mounts I’d agree with you, but for what is technically paid cosmetics? nah

“Waah I don’t like this person feel special with his special pixels he never uses anymore ;( mean Blizz!!”

Works both ways. Why do you care if someone has something that you don’t?

Exclusive mounts in the accounts of mostly players who have quit forever or mounts that nobody ever uses are good for no-one.
RAF rewards in particular, are notoriously dubious cause they encouraged people to get an extra account and buy the game again there. To say nothing about the black market for the TCG mounts

Everyone and their grandma has it already, nothing rare about it. :stuck_out_tongue:

that permanent broom in October made me so happy
/cackles like a witch

It would definitely made the game feel more evergreen, like with the Ultimate raids in FF14.

I understand exclusivity is important. When an item is ‘no longer in the game’ and you have daid item, you have a sense of value to it. I actually think its lazy on Blizzards part to be honest. Traders post was and is the easiest sub money bait they have introduced.

As I always say though, the game is so bloated that none of it really matters. Who cares that I have the Green Swift Razzashi mount for example? There’s literally 1000? Mounts in the game at this point.

The Traders Post has removed all value from every item and I don’t think it’s a good thing.
