When he stole the design from The Primus (which he seemingly got from The First Ones) he went on to test and perfect it.
Frostmourne.
Kingsmourne.
Arthas.
Anduin.
Tried and tested.
Thatâs why Sargeras used the sword on Azeroth. Those pesky Nathrezim manipulated him over the millennia. But all he has done is provide the tool for The Jailerâs plan.
Both Anduin and Arthas wouldnt even make up 0.0001% of Azeroths power.
That was more in defiance given he was about to get pulled away and we already knew that if he couldnt have her then nobody should. And the sword is still drained of its power.
We still dont know what the First Ones are however. And if Azeroth is connected to the First ones (which she most probably is given its our connection to her that lets us use their relics) then its even more grim to her since it appears in the foodchain the Eternal Ones are below the First Ones. Also he was talking about the Makers plan in the ending. Makers is the term exclusively used for the Titans up until now. Could very well be that the first ones turn out to be the titans (which would be very anticlimactic in my opinion)
Im not disregarding the theory, but those are points i just cant dig.
Whatâs hype about that theory tho? Another generic villain comes to claim azeroth world soul, like it has never been done before. Blizzard leaving that sword there like we wonât expect them to use it for lore at some point, shocking. Making another mourneblade? How many at this point?
People do this theorycrafts always. Lore is so twisted that you can came up with anything at this point.
The fact that all cosmic powers were manipulated by jailor was known 9 month ago when item: enemy infiltration - preface was discovered. That scheme that sire sent dreadlords to infiltrate all cosmic powers to won this was, we also had whispers of nâzoth, who mentioned it.
I suppose it depends on what kind of story Blizzard wants to tell.
Redemption.
Salvation.
Absolution.
Pentinence.
Remorse.
Repentance.
EtcâŚ
There are lots of hero tale endings, and Lord knows that Blizzard have gone for all of them across their games.
So weâll see.
Maybe her story wonât end at all and she just becomes the lone ranger, shunned by all, trying to live with her past sins.
Remorse.
Ah! I listed that already.
I lean toward the selfless self-sacrifice at the end, maybe to save Anduin. But weâll see.
But it doesnât have to do with power. It has to do with purity. Thatâs why Anduin was what The Jailer needed. Someone pure. If such a person can be dominated, then so can the World Soul. It too is pure.
Everyone has a different taste. Im not one to judge.
So far only 3 entities have tried that. The void lords, Sargeras and now the Jailer. But given how important Azeroth is for the cosmos this shouldnt be anything surprising.
There are currently a lot. However only 1 is of great power currently. Kingsmourne. Frostmourne had its power drained during Legion making it worthless now. Shadowmourne was never a proper mourneblade to begin with and proved to be an utter failure in the end.
Yes. And the only cosmic power where it didnt work was the void as they were aware of it happening even before the Nathrezim even had it planned (its pretty much impossible to trick the void as they see every possibility and believe in all of them. Ilgy for example talks about events while youâre in nyâalotha that require you to have defeated NâZoth and him. Meaning NâZoth knew he wouldnt win and be âkilledâ). The Light might also prove tricky in the long run dependent on if Lothraxion betrayed them in the end or not given hes infused with the light now (so theres at least a possibility that he had betrayed them for the light)
Sure. Weâll see where the story goes beyond The Jailerâs immediate plan to claim the World Soul.
Iâm sure at some point things will work out in our favor. It is a fantasy story after all. The happy ending is a given. The cost of it is the mystery.
To be fair i was amazed by that theory. As someone who actually is interested with wow lore, i was listening to it with open jaw and it all actually makes sense.
I assume he will win in his raid too but then we manage to wake Azeroth up who then proceeds to kill him. I wouldnt mind a cinematic that utilizes the player raid and their transmogs to then together wake up azeroth as a last resort (they could use this premature awakening as a reason to have her nerfed afterwards and force her to regenerate her strength so Blizzard can pull the light xpac for instance without having an Azeroth at the front line that would make every battle kinda pointless given we could otherwise just go âmooooom. These evil guys hit me. Could you kill them pretty plox?â). Wouldnt even mind if we use the Heart of Azeroth for the cinematic in that case.
I mean, if Blizzard had the foresight 25 years ago, then they could probably have written a storyline that tied everything together from the start.
But obviously a lot of Warcraft story has just been written as theyâve gone along over the years without anything tying it all together.
But it does seem that with Chronicles and probably from Legion and onwards theyâve made a big effort to tie everything together into a single over-arcing story.
Is it perfect? No.
But itâs damn impressive and quite epic nonetheless, I think.
I couldnât have done better at least. And I havenât seen any fan theories that are better either. What Blizzard seem to be brewing up is in my opinion the best one could ask for.
If you would expect it yes. Nobody expected Vader to be his father for instance. When they tried to pull a similar stunt in the new sequels they got flamed for it. That sylvanas stops being evil was called out ages ago and thats what bugs people because it was so predictable. And ofc blizzard saying âepic revelationâ while everyone knew what would happen
Aye Sylvanas only passed out. The reunion with her other half soul was too much for her all at once. Probably the same thing will happen to Uther when we find his soulâŚsomewhere. But I do believe more will happen to her than just her getting blue eyes. By that I mean her hair, skin etc. But we wonât see that until she recovers.
But I do wonder, is Sylvanas magic (with the chains) the domination magic (which probably will be blue magic now) or is it the Zovaalâs blue magic, that is the domination magic or are both one and the same domination magic?
Yeah but what if Jaina and Thrall ended her. I feel like not even Blizzard knows what happens next. They are just looking at the communityâs reaction and go from there.
