If the Jailer holds a piece of Sylvanas soul, it pretty much confirms he controls her, and probably has for quite some time.
Sylvanas was right, she does not have free will. And because of that, she is targeting the wrong enemy.

Its become a joke except unlike Kelthas and his mearly a setback the writers take it serious which just makes it sad.
Imagine if this piece would be used when āshalamourneā was created, which then couldāve been the reason for why Sylvanas hesitated with that sword in hand during the cinematic.
But I guess that is too much to expect from the narrative team of the current days.

No wonder she has a lot of ammunition. She has the old quiver bags that disappeared during end of Wotlk, but itās filled with a lot of fans and 50039 dimensional chess pieces.
The problem with Sylvanas is that she is meant to be a āthis was my plan all alongā-type character, but Blizzard does not actually know what her plan is.
Really?
Since when?
Syvanas was manipulated and used since the dawn of her creation as a bansheeā¦
Iām genuinely interested whom she manipulated - aside the Horde, but āusedā is a better word, no masterfull decpetion there, she just gave ordersā¦ and for some plot armorish reason the members of the Horde forgot they have a brain and how to think to say āare you mad, corpse?ā - and that manipulation ended up in any form of āwinā or gainā for her
Without any sarcasm or jokes aside, its a real question, because I canāt recall any big manipulations form her part
No need to do anything manipulative when the opponents and contenders are purposely written like suddenly spineless people or somehow just did not say or do anything at all.
One can assume and flail at this, but speaking only from Hordeside, being told to ābide our timeā and ābe cautious/carefulā when we had premises like Garrosh causing worldly terrors before that was only solved by direct action doesnāt really feel like anything fun or fine.
If Sylvanas was assassinating or outright tyrannical slaughtering her own people who even winked differently at her left and right, then iād understand this cautious premiseā¦
Since Wc3 TFT.
Thatās the whole point of how she managed to stay in charge and manoeuvre her faction into an alliance with the Horde. Or how she managed to get away with her methods, while fighting with the Horde or even alongside the Alliance.
